Could not have asked for a better tour. Right from the first contact with Tashi I knew we had picked the right company. She organised everything from her side. Flights from Kathmandu with seats on the right side to see the Himalayas and Everest. Second time proved that with perfect weather and an opportunity for fabulous pics. She also organised our visas and the guide and driver our friends had recommended. They were the best. Tshering was so informative and had all the information we needed and then some. Kippy was a great driver and we always felt safe with him at the wheel. The Happiness tour was all and more than we expected and we would highly recommend it. What an adventure.

We spent a fantastic 8 days in Bhutan courtesy Bhutan Swallowtail. Right from the start, the super efficient Ms Singye helped us plan our trip, making some great internal travel recommendations so that we could experience the Jambay Lakhang Drup, the last festival of the year. Our guides Passang and Sonam and our driver Jigme made sure we had a great time showing us all the sights and explaining the small details. The hotels and resorts booked by Bhutan Swallowtail were all fabulous, with great views, beautiful well equipped rooms and good food. Highly recommend them for anyone considering a trip to Bhutan.

Bhutan is magnificent. Our lovely tour guide Kinzang was just the best and our driver Passang was fabulous. Both were caring, considerate and helpful. We (5 mature women) felt safe and supported at all times on our five day holiday/adventure. Thank you both. Very memorable all round and highly recommended.

We loved very much the experience and everything about the Itinerary was perfect, but the best thing that happend to us was to have Pema Tenzin as guide. He and the driver Passan transformed our journey in something unforgettable. Pema was the whole time helpful, worried about our conditions and demonstrated in every moment that the important thing was us and not the program. I am just starting my return trip back to the US after 2 weeks in Nepal, followed by 5 days in Bhutan. From our arrival at the Bhutan airport we could sense the calm and quiet that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Swallowtail really dialed in the perfect amounts of educational sightseeing with relaxation time, and plenty of authentic Bhutanese cuisine! The monuments we visited were so beautiful and interesting. And the views driving from Thimphu to Punakha were stunning. I highly recommend Swallowtail!!

My daughter and I recently enjoyed six wonderful nights in Bhutan guided by Pema Tenzin and his driver Kinga. The two young men were perfect hosts. Informative and considerate and a pleasure to travel with. My daughter had made all the arrangements with Singye who ably assisted her through the red tape necessary to make the trip. Highlights of our visit for me were the Festival in Punakha. The colour and pageantry were stunning and we also visited a nunnery and listened to afternoon prayers. The singing and the music were superb. We were well entertained and challenged throughout the tour. Walking over the longest suspension bridge for which we received a special blessing and hoisting our prayer flags on another bridge, culminating with the trek to the Tiger's Nest, which my daughter did. There were so many highlights. We both found travel in Bhutan immensely enjoyable. A true travel experience. Thank you so much Pema and Kinga and staff at Swallowtail

I enjoyed each step of this journey, very well organised with Pema, our talented guide, and Jimmy, our excellent driver. That was such an experience of historical, philosophical discovery, and also human and good laughing times.
