This was a wonderful full day island hopping adventure. Frankie is a great (and fun) captain that made us feel safe while cruising and offered information about all of the stops. There are opportunities on the islands to grab lunch, snacks, drinks and tour the villages. Highly recommend!
A fabulous day from start to finish! Franky, our skipper, was attentive , informative and entertaining. We really enjoyed strolling around Komiza on the Island of Vis, Hvar was just beautiful. Plenty of time at the swim stop at Pakleni Islands. The main crossings were quite windy, but Franky put up the side covers to help mitigate that, and having a shade on the boat helped too. A great itinerary led to us all having an amazing day out in the waters and Islands of beautiful Croatia!
Captain Frankie made the trip wonderful. We were impressed with his skills. The places were great with the perfect amount of time spent at each. His recommendations were spot on!
We left from 7am from Split and headed straight to the Blue cave and ended in Hvar. We had great time with Frankie! We had great seas and when the boat wake got bad, Frankie handled it like a pro. We felt like we had plenty of time to swim and to explore Vis and Hvar. There were great places to eat and bathroom access was easy. Even though it’s a long excursion, about 9 hours for us, it goes really well and is broken up into nice times of boating, swimming, and exploring the towns. The boats are great and covered to help with the sun.
Very complete, friendly guide. We couldn't go to the blue cave because it was closed, but we visited other beautiful places.
This was by far the best thing we did in Split! Mateo was an awesome skipper and made this so enjoyable. He was kind, and patient with all the guest. He gave some great knowledge and also allowed us all to just relax to take it in. Blue caves were amazing! The swimming was a lot of fun. The stops into town were awesome as well. You’d regret not doing this tour. The boat is also so much more comfortable than the other tours offered. It’s an actual seat, with a shield to block the spray, making you feel very secure crossing the sea.
Described as Luxury seating on a 🚤 speedboat. It's a rib/dingy nothing more nothing less. You'll spend 1 hour 30 mins (approx) on open water getting wet and knocked about unless you have mill pond calm which we didn't. You don't visit 5 islands one of them you just cruise past ! One Island we stopped at which the skipper thought was amazing was pebble beach with not a single facility. We saw people struggling to get in and out of the water because of the rocks and pebbles. The Blue Cave was nothing spectacular just average given the amount extra you have to pay. Hvar was the only place worth visiting and afforded visitors plenty to see and do. The one hour journey back to Split was again uncomfortable despite the luxury seating (was anything but luxury) you have one side of plastic sheeting to protect you from the elements and we did get wet. On arrival back we had an email with a link to leave a review. They asked for a.5* star review, which companies do this ? It's your review and you score as you find not being dictated to. I made a complaint to the agent who I booked through outlining my concerns and this is most definitely not a premium product. Within an hour of complaining Speedlink had removed the review link. I went to the WhatsApp chat and asked.multiple times why they had removed link. Not once did they give an answer (clearly trying to remove my right to an honest review) I was also advised it would impact on the family business if I left a negative review. (All this has been retained on the WhatsApp chat, nothing has been exaggerated or embellished. My advice. Shop.around and be absolutely clear of what your buying into. You have a lot of choice.
Dear Mark, We would like to clarify a few facts regarding your review. Our boat is not a “dinghy”. It is a professional 12-metre RIB speedboat with a 250 HP engine, worth approximately €120,000, specifically designed for full-day island excursions. Our boats are equipped with comfortable individual seats with proper back support and shade, as well as protection from sea spray, unlike many other operators using basic banana-style seating with no shade or protection. The boat, seating and equipment are clearly shown in our listing, so there was nothing misleading about what you booked. You saw the boat, chose to board, and completed the entire tour. At no point during the tour did you raise any complaint or tell our skipper that you were dissatisfied. All scheduled destinations and services were provided. You requested a full refund the following day through the Viator platform. Both Viator and we declined the request because the service had been fully provided as advertised. The Blue Cave is a world-famous natural phenomenon and one of the most recognised attractions in this part of Croatia. The secluded beach in the Blue Lagoon is intentionally chosen as a quieter, natural location away from mass tourism. You may not have personally appreciated these places, but dismissing them entirely is simply a matter of personal preference. We are a small family business and genuinely care about our guests and our reputation. It is disappointing to see such statements written without any consideration for the people behind a small family business, especially when no concerns were raised during the tour itself. We respect fair and honest criticism, but we cannot accept our boat, our service or our business being misrepresented simply because a refund was not granted. Our decision remains unchanged.
I did the tour with my wife and we had an amazing time. It was unfortunate the blue caves were closed at the time but Mateo was nice enough to take us to the island and check out the entrance of the cave and such. Mateo is a good skipper and we enjoyed his music and the boat ride. My wife's hat flew off and he even circled back to retrieve it. Props to him for finding the black hat floating in the sea and getting it back to us. We also spotted some dolphins during our ride and he was kind enough to stop so we could watch the dolphins. I would do this trip over again if I had to. Highly recommended! Mateo speaks very good english so choose him if you can!
It was a magnificent day. Speed Line has super comfortable and well-maintained boats. Mario, our guide, was very kind and is also the best DJ, keeping the best energy during every long or short trip. The experience is 100% worth it and we would repeat it without hesitation.
