We learned a great deal about Transylvannia through our many stops in magical towns and cities. Our guide, Andrei, was very knowledgeable about the history of the region and all the sites we visited. The pre-planned itinerary was perhaps too ambitious for our group since the ages of our participants were from 2 to 75. Andrei learned to accommodate all our needs by the end of the trip..
I was on this tour over Orthodox Easter. There were many beautiful decorations and stands. I particularly liked driving through the countryside. What I will remember is a delicious lunch with a local woman, looking at her art... Spending time in an Easter Monday mass was moving. The cities of Transylvania are beautiful! If you have been to western and central Europe, TRY EASTERN EUROPE! Andre was a thoughtful guide!
