Our tour through Private Tours Greece was absolutely fantastic! Our driver,Giannis, was wonderful and added so much to our trip. The guides that were hired to go with us to the archaeological sites were extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Our tour in Athens was truly a dream come true and I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

We loved our whole experience with from start to finish! Eleni and team helped us customize our tour to reflect our interest in archeological sites and charming coastal town. We had already been to Olympia with a cruise so they adjusted the itinerary accordingly. From Athens our wonderful driver Spyros drove us to Delphi. All the sights we visited had terrific guides arranged by the company. We overnighted in the charming fishing village of Nafpktos. From there drove to Mystras for guided tour then on to Monemvasia(which was our favorite spot). After overnight and morning spent exploring went to Nafplios for 2 nights. Day trip next day with guided tours of Epidaurus, Mycenae and Nemea. Ended day with tour and wine tasting. The last day on the way back to Athens, did a stop at Larissa Castle Ancient Corinth and canal. We got to Athens in time to have lunch and a couple of hours walking around. We felt like our driver, Spyros, was a friend by the end of the trip! We called him"The Fixer". He was so flexible with the itinerary in order to make the most of our time. For example, after falling in love with Monemvasia, he switched a tour around to allow us to have the full morning wandering around. He took us to the best viewpoints to get gorgeous for pictures. Driving in Greece is scary(note all the shrines to fatal car victims) so it was so reassuring to have his careful driving around all the vertiginous curves.

Wow! What a fantastic trip to northern Greece! Spyros was not only a highly professional driver, but was extremely attentive to our comfort and desires to learn and see more! He worked very hard to ensure we were settled in our hotels. He made local recommendations for eating and outside attractions. All of our hotel accommodations were excellent! Spyros went above and beyond our expectations by driving us to additional viewing sites that greatly increased our appreciation of Greece. To be chauffeured around in such a comfortable manner to see these phenomenal sites was well worth the expense!! We are so happy we did this!
