Booking is very smooth with proposed schedule fit our time and budget. We planned 8 days and covered all interested locations including Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Our guide Kennedy is so nice and resourceful, he helped us spotted all animals on our checklist! And we seen some surprise on top, especially cheetahs and leopards are different to find at this season, we able to see multiple times, thanks to Kennedy’s rich experience. We travel as 4 people group in Safari Land Cruiser. Vehicle is 3-years new and condition is great for off road. And extra seats can make it easy for some bags we want to carry with us. I would suggest 4 people group is the comfortable size. It could be too crowded if travel in 6, just think about stand up and see view on one side, it will be a little bit difficult. With the cost for value, definitely can recommend Explorer Kenya if you plan to do Safari. You will be comfortable with their arrangement, no matter food or hotels. And if you can make the tour with Kennedy, who is funny, knowledgeable and responsible, it will be worry free and memorable trip of wildlife adventure.

We had a wonderful safari experience in Kenya. Our guide, Dominic, was experienced, responsible and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. He always tried his best to help us find the animals we wanted to see, especially lions and other predators, and we were lucky to have some amazing sightings during the trip. Dominic was also very patient with our questions and requests, and helped us adjust the schedule when possible. We really appreciated his effort throughout the journey. The safari was an unforgettable experience and gave us so many great memories of Kenya. Thank you Dominic and the team!

No complaints at all, only praise. Our guide Vincent was absolutely fantastic. He was enthusiastic, thoughtful and reliable. He took care of every detail and helped us solve all our requests and questions. The vehicle was brand new and cleaned thoroughly every day. We saw dozens of different animals on the safari. Highly recommend him!

Just back from an 8-day Kenya safari covering Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara, and we're still buzzing. Our guide FRANCIS NDEGWA made all the difference. He's patient, warm, and just really easy to spend a week in a car with. His driving on those bumpy tracks is seriously impressive — we always felt safe. And his wildlife-spotting skills is really outstanding. He found animals we'd never have seen on our own, and thanks to him we got the Big Five plus more lion sightings. Trip logistics were spot-on throughout. Lodges were comfortable with great meals. Thanks to Explorer Kenya for organising such a smooth experience. We just returned from our honeymoon in Kenya and it was a genuinely unique experience, one we'll be talking about for years. What made it stand out was how personal everything felt. This wasn't an off-the-shelf tour: the itinerary was tailored to us, and it showed at every stage of the trip. A big part of that was our guide, Dan. He was warm and personable from day one, and always happy to adapt the plan to what we wanted. His knowledge was impressive: he could tell us about the animals, their behaviour, the landscape and local life, and he loved answering our (many) questions. His patience paid off, too: thanks to Dan waiting it out with us, we were rewarded with a beautiful view of the Great Migration, a moment we'll never forget. Our experience with Explorer Kenya was excellent. Thanks to them and to Paul, our driver-guide, our safari will remain etched in our memories forever. We were able to enjoy a big 9-day safari including the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Tsavo East. The journeys, the safaris, and the stays in the different hotels were completely successful. Our guide knows the fauna and flora of his country perfectly, and he also told us about the history and anecdotes of the daily life of Kenyans. We had an incredible experience with Vincent going to some amazing sights around Kenya. It was the perfect itinerary as we got warmed up in Naivasha and Lake Nakuru (where we saw 4 of the big 5 including both white and black rhinos) before the main event at Masai Mara which was unbelievable and we finally saw the elusive leopard to get 5/5. The lodges were fantastic and we can’t speak highly enough of Vincent. He helped us feel informed at all times and did as much as he possibly could to help us get the best sightings and to ensure we were there at the best times. He made the trip absolutely incredible. Before booking this trip, I did a lot research including approaching local travel agents in UK. I came across Explore Kenya on line & was amazed to read their reviews. I contacted Robert who put me through to Purity. After many email & telephone exchanges, I decided to book with them but I was very anxious to pay & deal with someone who was in another country & not local to me. My worry was around the reliability & actual delivery of their service. However, I have nothing but praise for the efficiency & delivery of what was promised to me. Most of the things went as promised. The pick ups/ the game rides & accommodation was as promised. Thanks to our tour guide Sami. He is a very pleasant & a likeable guide who did his best to make sure we get to see as many unusual animal interactions as possible. He’s polite & a professional guide who made our time in Kenya enjoyable. The only constructive criticism I will give to Robert is that we had been in touch via email & WhatsApp for months, however there was no welcome message or a call or text to say hello upon our arrival in Nairobi or even during our 15 day stay to ask if all was going ok. Therefore the whole process felt a bit mechanical rather than having a warm & a caring touch. That was disappointing. Even when things didn’t go as per plan, I had to call & inform & then chase. Having said, it is a trustworthy company & I will consider giving my business again. Thank you to all the drivers who did pick up & drops & big high fi to Sami for trying to quiz us at times for our animal & worldly knowledge 😄

I had great trip with explore kenya. I had booked private 4x4 with guide for my family. 4x4 was in very good condition and clean. Robert from Kenya explore was very prompt in resolving booking related quarries. Booking was very smooth. Ian who was our guide and driver was fun to be with. He was knowledgeable about location spots of wild life and was also sensitive to our mood. When we were disappointed due to zero Rhino sighting during Nakuru tour; he ensured we get the best experience and used his all experience and wisdom ensured we see Rhino and could able to see Rhino family. Without doubt you may plan your tour with explore kenya. Enjoy the once in life time Masia Mara Naivasha and Nakuru wild life.
