Javid was an absolutely amazing tour guide. His knowledge of the entire country was truly impressive, and he shared so much interesting information throughout our trip.
He is a polite, professional, and trustworthy gentleman who made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. As parents, we felt completely at ease having our children with us during the tour.
His attention to detail, friendly personality, and excellent service made all the difference.

Great dune bashing but camp a disaster.
Having taken the Premium Desert Safari some 10 years ago and loved it, we were really looking forward to doing it again. However, whilst our driver was very nice and did his best for us, the experience was far from fun. The drive to the dunes from our pick up hotel took over 1 hour. We spent about 45 minutes dune bashing in the 4X4 which was fun. Our driver was not part of a "convoy" so we managed to have some alone time on the dunes. He helped us do a little sand boarding which was fun. Then came the drive to the Camp. He told us it would be around another 1 hour drive (which was surprising as the last time we did this tour - the camp was close to the dunes). But the drive took us over 1 and a half hours. So many vehicles all going to the camp area meant traffic jams on the narrow roads. We missed our chance of a photo op to watch the sun go down and our eventual arrival at the camp meant also we did not have time for camel rides. Drinks were not allowed to be served until 7.00pm and then there was a mad dash for the buffet. We had been told that if we didn't leave by 7.30pm it could take us 2-3 hours to return to our hotel as all the vehicles would be leaving at the same time. We managed to see two stage acts but no belly dancers whilst we were there. The camp is now purpose built and lacks the Bedouin style that I remembered from our previous visit. Our driver was helpful and very nice but the number of tourists and vehicles did not provide us with the pleasant experience we have had before.

Dear bellytastic,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your Dubai Desert Safari experience. We truly appreciate your honest comments.
We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the dune bashing and sand boarding, and that our staff took good care of you during the desert drive. Your kind words about their support and assistance mean a lot to us.
At the same time, we sincerely regret that the camp experience and travel time did not meet your expectations. Due to peak season traffic and the high number of vehicles heading to the desert camps, travel times can occasionally be longer than usual. We also understand your disappointment about missing the sunset photo opportunity and camel ride, which are important highlights of the tour.
Kindly note that during the holy month of Ramadan, belly dance performances are not conducted at the camp in respect of local traditions. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated in advance.
Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will certainly review it carefully to improve the overall guest experience. We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a much smoother and more enjoyable desert safari in the future.
Warm regards,
Team New Horizon Travel and Tours

The trip was so good. Shobi is a great driver and guide, picked me up on time, we had an amazing time driving up and down in the desert, tried the ride in the desert, and watched a very good show. The dance was very good, food was good too.
