We had a fantastic trip. The scenery, stops and accommodation were excellent. Our guide, Gareth, was informative, fun and really ensured everyone had a great time. We really enjoyed being with the other travellers and made some great friends. We would warmly recommend this trip. Do not miss the optional Addo Elephant safari!

To be fair, the agency's communication was quite good — responsive and clear. The guide, however, wasn't really a good fit for us. He talked constantly throughout the trip, even when there wasn't much to say. We tried to politely hint that we needed some quiet time, and even gently asked if he could lower the talking a little, but it didn't seem to help. I think he meant well, but it just felt like he wasn't picking up on our cues. The experience ended up being more tiring than relaxing. Overall, the agency seems fine, but I'd suggest requesting a different guide if you're someone who prefers a quieter, more laid-back tour

Just got back from an amazing group trip with Earthstompers and I can’t recommend it enough! Everything was well organized, and the experience was made even better by our fantastic guide Christine —knowledgeable, friendly, bubbly, fun and always going the extra mile to make sure everyone was having a great time and taking tons of great photos for us along the way. The whole group vibe was positive and fun, and we made some unforgettable memories along the way. I’d definitely do it all over again!

An absolutely stunning 5-day tour along the Garden Route! Christine as our tour guide was simply exceptional – her knowledge of South Africa's culture, history, and nature elevated our trip to a whole new level. She didn't just show us the landscape, she truly brought it to life. Special requests, such as a photo at the Plettenberg town sign – no problem: Christine found a solution. The entire Earthstompers team impressed us with perfect organization and warm hospitality at all times. The accommodations (guesthouses) were consistently comfortable, charming, and thoughtfully chosen, perfectly suited to each region. Christine is a great and very friendly tour guide. She always provided us with travel information and other interesting facts at the right time. She responded very well to the individual needs of the individual participants. The itinerary is very nice and the program varied. This also applies to the accommodations chosen. Unfortunately we were only quite late (after 18:00) in Sedgefield so we could not really enjoy the beautiful pool in the property and the beach. We would have liked to have arrived earlier.

Christine is passionate about her job, and she does the best to make everyone feel comfortable and enjoyable. The tour is very complete, everyday is different and the pase is good. The different activities, visits and accomodations are top!! I recommend 100% this tour and meeting Christine, a local who knows perfectly every spot you will visit! Hello this tour is awesome for people who are seeking to see the most of the garden route in little time. Earthstompers were so organized, responsive and professional. Itinerary was perfectly traced and we always stopped by / slept / ate at very nice adresses. You will finish up this tour having a full belly and a head filled with wonderful memories. Our guide (Christine), was so passionate about what she was doing, always on time, and very precise and concise while giving information. We felt good and comfortable with her during all the journey. This tour is clearly beyond expectations, value for money is astonishing. Totally recommend it. Hassan & Clara =)

It would be impossible to explain how amazing this was and the very first mention must go to EarthStompers and Nicole for arranging, our itinerary but then to the WONDERFUL Rochelle who was our guide throughout. I cannot stress how incredible she was. She made our experience so much more special and we were really sad to say goodbye to her at the end of our trip. So we were picked up from Cape Town by the smiling Rochelle and taken to our first accommodation and she made sure we were booked in and gave us some suggestions for our first night which proved to be spot on and then met us as we finished breakfast the following morning. What was apparent really quick was the way she would ask us if there was anything in particular we would like doing on the way to our next accommodation, and then as we did not have anything to mind, just made some suggestions which turned out to be brilliant visiting a vineyard with some wine tasting at the most beautiful place on the way to Stellenbosch. She was then on the phone checking what time we could check in and timed it beautifully with a little drive round showing us the place, and then suggestions for some nice places to eat, and then getting us checked in. The following morning, Rochelle was there to make sure we were okay and checked out and then we moved onto our next accommodation, and once again perfect suggestions made with some nice stops at places we would simply not have known about or gone to without her knowledge and experience, and then for our next accommodation at a resort called Lanzerac, had called ahead and booked us on a Wine Tour and tasting and as was her way got us there and booked in just in time . This become a common theme as Rochelle would make these stops so that we could experience the sheer beauty of the Garden Route, and her knowledge and passion of South Africa shone through. So off we went to Outsdhoorn for an incredible experience and so unique, and a long drive after that to Wilderness, through the most beautiful mountains with the best viewing spots, and then Kynsna where we stayed two nights and the wonderful Rochelle even joined us on doing the Park Run, and then Zip Lining. We also hiked at Tsitsikamma National Park, and after Knysna moved onto Port Elizabeth for out flight to Durban and again Rochelle planned it all so we got there in plenty of time. There is no way in my opinion you should try and do this yourself. You should pay for a guide, at this wonderful company and if you are fortunate you may get Rochelle, but I am sure that they are all good. THANKYOU Rochelle, we had the best time, we had the best guide, we hated saying goodbye, and you made our celebration and my bucket list tour of the Garden Route that much more special. You were simply amazing.

This was a wonderful trip! The journey offered many surprises, from stunning landscapes to unexpected wildlife encounters – full of unforgettable experiences. I had wanted to do the Garden Route, but wasn’t sure how – until I came across this tour. I’m so grateful I decided to book it. Christine was a fantastic guide and a very safe driver. She shared plenty of interesting information, kept us updated (“What’s happening in your life today…”), created a wonderful atmosphere, was attentive to our wishes, and shared both her knowledge of – and her love for – South Africa. The accommodations were also carefully chosen. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect balance of connecting with people while still having time for myself. Thank you!
