We spent 5 wonderful days touring Dambulla, Sigiriya, Ella, Galle, and Colombo with Roshan as our driver. From day one, he made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Roshan was always punctual, drove safely, and spoke excellent English, which made conversations easy and enjoyable. What we appreciated most was his genuine hospitality and friendly nature — he was more than just a driver and played a big part in making our trip so memorable. Shirantha was a friendly and approachable driver and tour guide, he was very knowledgeable sharing all about Sri Lanka, his own personal thoughts and recommendations. His English was excellent! I particular enjoyed his food recommendations! In only a short 5 days, we saw a lot of Sri Lanka, the pace was good. Not too fast or too slow, we and we could tweak the stops along the way. We felt safe as he drove through the mountains, countryside, coast, towns and cities. We had lunch and dinner in very good places. He also kept the car clean and tidy throughout the trip.

We were late in finding a driver for our trip to Sri Lanka. We were scheduled to land in Sri Lanka on a Tuesday, and two days before departure we contacted several companies by email. The ones who responded immediately were Drivers in Sri Lanka. Dilshan was the one who quickly created a WhatsApp group. He asked what we wanted to do and see, and how many days we wanted to travel. He also asked whether we wanted to book our own hotels. I explained roughly what we wanted to do and told him he was welcome to recommend hotels as well. Within a few minutes, we received a suggested itinerary that we could read through and adjust by adding or removing activities. The itinerary also included hotel recommendations. We quickly received information about the price and exactly what was included and not included. If we weren’t satisfied with the driver or the car, they could be replaced within an hour. They also followed up during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Thanks to all of this, I can warmly recommend Drivers in Sri Lanka if you plan to travel around and explore different places in Sri Lanka. They feel very safe and reliable. My advice, however, is to ask for several hotel options or book your own hotels — and not to schedule too many activities each day.

My boyfriend and I spent 6 days traveling around Sri Lanka with Udaya as our driver, and overall it was a really special and easy way to experience the country. Udaya was extremely reliable from the beginning—always punctual, quick to respond, and very organized. We traveled through places like Sigiriya, Kandy, and Ella, covering long distances comfortably thanks to his calm and confident driving. We always felt safe, which is so important on Sri Lanka’s busy and sometimes unpredictable roads. One of the things we appreciated most was his knowledge of good places to stop along the way. He took us to some really nice restaurants we wouldn’t have found ourselves, as well as beautiful viewpoints that broke up the longer drives and made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. Our absolute favorite moment was a completely unplanned stop at a turtle hatchery. It wasn’t something we had on our itinerary, but it ended up being such a memorable and unique experience. Moments like that really made the trip feel personal rather than overly structured. The car was always clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable, and he made sure we had plenty of breaks without ever making us feel rushed.

Driving skills were excellent along the narrow roads of Sri Lanka 😀. All is well organized and prepared like the safari in eco Park near sirigiya where we were so near from the elephants. The tour was prepared and planned carefully and very professional . The driver arrived in time . He spoke a good English, drove safely and showed us all the places we wanted to see. He gave us some helpful advice and was always available when we needed him. He couldn’t have been better. Very recommendable.

Great enjoyable comfortable experience with everything catered well! Our driver Mahesh has been super attentive with my mother and I, making sure that our needs are met at every stop. The car we sat in was superbly well kept and his driving skills were wonderful. We were able to request and reasonably deviate from the itinerary. All the prices of the activities are listed and can be viewed before the trip. The activities were fun and we look forward to visiting Sri Lanka again. 😊🪷🇱🇰
