A huge thank you to Hubert for this wonderful experience! We learned a lot about Raiatea and Polynesia, and in good spirits :). Hubert also takes us to discover his garden and taste his own honey (it's amazing!).

I think TripAdvisor redirected me to Viator. The service was very good, very much in line with what was advertised, the guide/owner was very helpful.
We learned an enormous amount of things with Hubert. Everything was extremely interesting, and you can tell that he is a man passionate about his profession and also very engaging. Moreover, we were lucky to be just two people and had a "private" tour. We recommend this tour 100%! You will leave with cultural knowledge that will make you want to travel to the ends of the earth to discover all of Maori culture!
The 4x4s offered unique views of Moorea. Crossing the middle of the island to see the caldera and pineapple plantations provided a different perspective of the island. The climb to Magic Mountain was wild but the views were spectacular.
Hubert is an exciting enthusiast. It will make you discover Havai'i, its history and flora like no one else. His anecdotes and sense of humor guarantee you a good time! It brings a constructive and relevant look at Polynesian culture, which we have not had elsewhere. Allow a little more time if you are like us the kind to ask questions 😊
Nice excursion in an open-air pickup truck. Seats were comfortable and roomy. It was a really hot day, so as long as we were moving, the breeze made it enjoyable. Our guide took us all the way around the island. The scenery was beautiful. Commentary was given at each stop but not continuously throughout the day since our guide was also the driver. Our favorite stop was at the Pearl Farm because we had a very detailed demonstration on the entire process.
This was such an informative tour to learn some interesting things about Raiatea. We got to see the beautiful and lush landscape of the island. Learned about the agricultural aspects of the island. Also learned about the traditions and culture/history. Our tour guide Hubert was amazing and had so much information to give us and his personality was Great! The guide was very knowledgeable, but we found there was a bit too much plant information. Viewing the Marae Site was very interesting.
Hubert met us promptly at the pier and reviewed the itinerary with us. The truck could seat eight but we had extra space since there were only 5 of us. The benches were well padded and comfortable. We were very happy that the weather cooperated and provided plenty of sunshine. All the views were breathtaking and Hubert’s descriptions and storytelling enhanced the experience. We stopped at his house to tour his tropical garden and sample its fruits and honey. Overall, a great experience.
