Must do- unequivocally recommended!
The trip exceeded every expectation we had. My husband and I took the private tour and were not sure what to expect. We are glad to report that the trip was amazing. Alvaro, our tour guide, contacted us before the tour to understand what we are hoping for. We were glad to meet him in person at the beginning of the tour. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind-hearted Rio born and raised. He speaks excellent English, which is surprisingly difficult to find in Rio and made it easy to have thoughtful conversations throughout the day. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like family, and that warmth stayed with us throughout the experience. He truly made our trip unforgettable.
What set Alvaro apart was not only his vast knowledge, but also his ability to tailor the experience to what we wished.. He provided an outstanding introduction to Brazil—its history, politics, economy, culture, and society. Having a local explain both the country’s beauty and its challenges gave us a depth of understanding that no guidebook could offer. It transformed our visit to Rio de Janeiro from simply seeing beautiful sights into developing understanding of the place and its people.
I also have a disability, and Alvaro thoughtfully adapted the itinerary so I could comfortably enjoy the Tijuca Forest. Thanks to his flexibility and planning, I was able to experience the breathtaking rainforest, stunning waterfalls, and spectacular viewpoints without feeling limited.
This tour was the highlight of our time in Rio de Janeiro. If you have the opportunity to tour with Alvaro, don’t hesitate. You’ll come away with unforgettable memories and a far richer appreciation of Brazil.

Best Tour of Rio
The best tour in the world, few tours are done with so much passion and care, Alvaro takes care of even the smallest detail, the climate in Rio can be changing , however he adapts the itinerary to make your adventure the best , it is the second time I take the tour on this occasion with my family and it was an experience that I advise you all to take!! Rio is not only Christ or sugar bread!!

Rio de Janeiro from atop a mountain
It was a truly memorable experience to view Rio de Janeiro from atop a mountain, where the breathtaking panorama of the cityscape intertwined with the shimmering sea created a picture-perfect scene. Alvaro was an exceptional guide, offering outstanding service and making the experience all the more enjoyable.

Best Tour of the Wonderful City!
Complete program, with right to the trail, waterfall, amazing views, tour through the interior of the forest, wildlife observation, lesson on the history of the city... and some surprises involved.
All this without having to worry about anything, because Álvaro is an excellent photographer and thinks about everything, even the smallest details, to ensure that everyone in the group get the most out of the experience.

Tijuca forest tour
The tour was absolutely beautiful. Alvaro was very good at explaining the history and the details of everything we saw and everywhere we went! He also took lots of pictures for us, they were beautiful pictures too. I highly recommend doing a tour with him especially if it’s your first time in Rio or even if not I bet you he will make you view Rio in a completely different way. He’s so awesome, I would do the tour all over again!

An unforgettable day in the Tijuca forest guided by an amazing couple of guides!
It was an amazing trail! The view is beautiful, well worth the trip! The couple of guides, Álvaro and Fabiana, are impeccable! Super attentive, friendly, punctual and even gave a history lesson throughout the tour. Wonderful experience! I want to see other tourist attractions guided by them!

New adventures in Rio in 2024
Álvaro and Fabiana surpassing each other as always. Our third trip with them and we continue to be surprised and delighted by their professionalism. I always recommend it to friends who want a different experience in Rio.
