Great Safari Company and an Excellent Guide We had a very good experience with this safari company during our trip to the Masai Mara. Everything was well organized from start to finish and we always felt that we were in reliable hands. The itinerary was clear, transfers were punctual, and the accommodation matched what had been promised. Considering the logistics involved in a safari, the whole trip ran very smoothly. What really made the difference was our guide. He was experienced, calm, and clearly knew the Masai Mara very well. He was very good at spotting animals — often before we even noticed them — and he always tried to find the best position for viewing and taking photos without disturbing the wildlife. We never felt rushed during the game drives, and he was patient when we wanted to stay longer at a sighting. He answered our questions honestly and explained things in a simple and interesting way, especially about animal behavior and the ecosystem. Another thing we appreciated was his driving. The roads in the Masai Mara can be rough, but he drove carefully and safely, which made the long drives much more comfortable. Overall, the company proved to be professional and trustworthy, and the guide made the experience much more enjoyable. A safari depends a lot on the person driving and guiding you, and in our case we were lucky to have someone very competent. We would definitely recommend this company and especially this guide to anyone planning a safari in the Masai Mara.

George our driver was amazing! We were able to see 4/5 big 5! Just a slight improvement on his part is to be able to give us abit more information! I appreciate it a hard task to do while driving but we sometimes felt we needed a description of the birds. The lodging however - was not great - would rate this a 0/5, we felt it was very below standard! There was some hairs in the bedding and bathroom that wasn’t ours and it was not the cleanest place to stay and we were very very cold in the nights - luckily we were there pretty much to sleep! If I was to do this again - I would definitely book a better lodging!

Our safari packages highlight the Big 5 experience, but after your feedback, we will also consider incorporating more information about birds for our guests who are interested. We understand that our safari has been very popular and at times overbooked, which may have caused the accommodation staff to feel overwhelmed and miss some preparations. We apologize for this, and they are taking steps to ensure it does not happen again. We also recommend that guests mention any dietary restrictions prior to or during booking, so we can plan ahead and make any necessary purchases in advance, we are glad you had your snacks with you to manage in the meantime. I booked a 3-day, 2-night safari to the Masai Mara (Sept 8–10, 2025) with Perfect Wilderness Safaris, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The booking process was smooth, with Damaris handling my emails quickly and clearly. Everything was well-organized, and the transfers ran right on time. Our guide, Ron, was fantastic — knowledgeable, fun, and an excellent driver. He spotted animals with ease and shared lots of insight about their behavior and the environment. The vehicle was in great condition and very comfortable, even on the dirt tracks. Accommodation was in a tented camp. It was clean, comfortable, and basic but had everything I needed: private bed, toilet, and shower. Food during the trip was acceptable and kept us going between game drives. As for the wildlife, I couldn’t have asked for more — we saw lions hunt, catch prey, and feast (incredible to witness, even if a little sad), a cheetah strolling across the savannah, and countless other animals. The only one we missed was the rhino, but otherwise it felt like the full safari experience. A big part of what made the trip so enjoyable was the group — everyone clicked right away, which made it even more fun. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend Perfect Wilderness Safaris. Professional, well-organized, and they deliver a true bucket-list experience.

I was just on the 3D+2N Safari trip with Perfect Wilderness, and it was the most incredible experience! Our guide, Chris, was extremely good at spotting the animals - very impressive- and he had great knowledge of the wildlife, Maasai Mara and Kenya as a country. Our trip to Maasai Mara with Perfect Wilderness Tourism was truly unforgettable. From the beginning, the arrangements were excellent and everything was handled in a very professional way. Chris our tour guide was great! He worked so hard to give us the best experience ♥️ We saw very cool stuff, we were lucky enough to see 15 lions up close! 3 cheetahs and 4 hyenas. As well as very close views of giraffes and elephants. For us this experience was better than Murchison falls and Addo elephant game drives that we’ve done in the past.
