We had the best time. Our driver was entertaining & shared lots of information about the areas we visited. We saw parts of the island we never would have found by ourselves. This trip is highly recommended & great value for money.
This was a wonderful tour. Jorge was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this island and its heritage. We felt extremely safe 4 wheeling through the mountains and the entire trip was such a joy. I cannot say enough good things about Jorge, so if you get a chance, I'd request him. This was our favorite part of our entire vacation. Thank you Jorge for such a wonderful experience!!! 100 stars from us. We went through small forest paths where our guide gave us a lot of details about the plants, trees, flowers, and crops. It was very enriching and interesting. However, we did not do the excursion in its entirety; two visit points were not done, and as a result, we finished the day very early, at 4 p.m. Too bad, very too bad

Great tour of parts of the Island that we would not have been able to access easily ourselves. We were taken to some amazing scenery and two amazing places for swimming surrounded by volcanic rock formations. Both places were amazing for swimming especially when you see all the fishes. Our guide Louie was brilliant taking us to some amazing sites. The 4WD was essential in accessing some of the most beautiful views of the island. There was sufficient time to explore each place as well as grab some delicious lunch near the first swimming stop. Highly recommend this tour.
Lots of sightings, nice driver, Jose. Knew a lot to tell and drove safely. Gave us plenty of time. Because of a miscommunication, I was late. Jose drove up to me and dropped me off there, even though that place was not agreed.
This excursion is really a must-do; we were able to discover another part of the island. I recommend it 100%. Our guide spoke French, so that's a plus.

We really enjoyed this tour and it was convenient with drop-off and pick-up, the pacing and sights we visited. It was not too information heavy, but focused on the scenery, and gave participants time to explore each place, eat where they want, swim or not. Our guide, Luis Castro, was warm, accommodating, great at driving off-road and spoke German fluently! This was well-priced, convenient and permitted us to see several beautiful spots in one day while skipping the planning and driving!!
Ameeeeei the walk! For the first time and alone in Funchal, in July/2023, I made a tour with the Green Devil Safari and liked it so much that I booked another. Friendly guides and prepared (thank you, Lino!), amazing places! When I return to Madeira, I will definitely schedule new tours.
