Very well organized, punctual. The "boss" welcomes us very warmly. Our French guide Yves was friendly and had a great sense of humor. He answered all our questions and knows how to handle his 4x4 well. We were truly immersed in the deep nature of Crete, surrounded by olive trees on goat paths. Happy with our adventure. I recommend it. Small downside, the well-prepared local lunch could have used an extra piece of local cheese and a slice of watermelon.

Had a wonderful day. I knew eye-travel and Gijs from previous jeep safaris. We had a fantastic day again. Were picked up neatly on time and after a short but clear briefing we could set off. We alternated between the regular road and off-road. Made a coffee stop at a local tavern and visited an olive oil press factory where Gijs explained the whole process, followed by a delicious currant lunch with chicken, potatoes, and vegetables from the oven. After lunch, drove another piece over the mountain offroad and finally dropped off neatly at our apartment. If we are in Crete again, I would definitely book this again. Gijs and Tanya, thank you for the wonderful day!

Great outing! Everything was impeccable. Good organization, beautiful route on the ridge trails. Great stop to discover the oil. The difference lies in the simplicity and the joy of living of the guides. A true moment of pleasure led by kind people full of humor. Keep up the good work!!

Great day, very complete service with driving on the mountain trails of Crete. Visit to a pretty chapel in a charming area of several very authentic villages, a cave, and an olive oil factory with a tasting followed by lunch. All the visits were accompanied by the history of the place. The guides are wonderful, give good advice, and have a great sense of humor; a very good time is guaranteed!!

We had a blast! Smooth communication from the point of booking to the day of. Tanya picked us up promptly from our resort and was absolutely charming. We were the only two people from the UK (everyone else was Dutch) but we were made to feel very welcome regardless. Gijs was our guide and also our driver (if you’re from the UK you aren’t allowed to drive a vehicle yourself - this wasn’t entirely clear however I would argue it was more enjoyable as we didn’t have rugged terrain to contend with first-hand!). We had some insightful and amusing chats with him while driving and he briefed us prior to each stop in English before addressing the rest of the group in Dutch, so we knew what was going on. Some points during the drive were a bit hair-raising but we packed our sense of humour/adventure and threw ourself into it, and so had a great time. The taverna lunch was rustic and authentic, and the coffee shop/olive oil factory shops were very reasonably priced/optional to buy things, so we didn’t feel pressured/shepherded into tourist traps. We didn’t hire a car during our time on Crete, so this was an ideal way to explore the island and learn more about the people who live here and their way of life. Additionally, as a same-sex couple we’re slightly wary about what excursions we opt to do when abroad, but we were made to feel safe and welcome at all times. Highly recommend!
