Rebeca created the most lovely experience for us! We learned how to make moqueca and other delicious regional dishes in a welcoming environment. It was great to chat with Rebeca and the other guests that evening. Cannot recommend enough!

It was a really good and authentic experience Rebeca was our host and she welcomed us nicely. Very snaksaglig and told us a lot in relation to the various dishes. The food was super delicious and we look forward to making it when we get home.

This was a very worthwhile experience, and I would 100% recommend doing this on your trip to Salvador. Our host was wonderful! She was very friendly and taught us so much! We had a spectacular time with Rebeca! It was such an incredible experience getting to make homemade moqueca and caipirinhas. We each got to participate in every step and the food was delicious. Rebeca is so friendly and welcoming. We would 100% visit again next time we're in Salvador! 10/10 no notes.

Good class and experience. We were a small group. It was a good “hands on” experience where we each got to prep a different part of the meal. Rebecca invited us into her home and we cooked from there. Very nice house felt very welcoming like you were cooking with friends. She was very helpful in answering my food questions and speaks perfect English She was located in Stella Maris which was quite far from Barra but other than that the experience itself was wonderful Obrigada 🫶🏼

The dinner and cooking experience with Rebeca was truly something very special that we will not forget anytime soon. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome and completely at ease. Rebeca greets you with so much warmth, openness, and joy that you instantly feel at home – like you’re visiting a good friend. With great patience and passion, she guided us step by step through the preparation of a traditional dish. She didn’t just explain the techniques, but also shared the stories and meaning behind the meal. You can truly feel how much she loves cooking and how much she enjoys sharing that love with others. Cooking together, laughing, tasting along the way, and finally sitting down at the table to enjoy this unbelievably delicious food was simply wonderful. It tasted absolutely amazing – full of flavor, heart, and authenticity. It was so much more than just a dinner. It was an experience filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful connection. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants not only to enjoy great food, but also to experience a truly special and personal evening.

The cooking class with Rebecca was wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salvador. We were a group of six people from different backgrounds, and Rebecca welcomed us all with open arms, creating such a lovely atmosphere. Everything was prepared with care, from the brigadeiros and moqueca to the fried cassava and caipirinhas. She even had us try some fresh fruit and an okra dish. You can truly feel her passion for people, food, and her culture.

Rebeca was a wonderful host and her home was so lovely for hosting. She explained all the steps, told us about her community, the local cultures, and foods. I felt like I learned so much in such a short time. I hope Rebeca expands to more food Salvador activities/tours because she really is talented. We had Polish and Canadian attendees, everyone left fed and happy
