Amazing experience with Freddy! We spent 4 hours on a quad bike and had the best time. He took us to incredible places with breathtaking views. I was absolutely amazed! Freddy was so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the whole experience. Highly recommend him!

My girlfriend and I participated in the quad tour on the morning of 09/06/2026. Overall, we had a good time, although from our perspective there are a few points that could be improved. We were picked up directly at our hotel with a slight delay. Upon arriving at the organizer's location, there was first a good and understandable briefing on how to operate the quads. Each participant had to start the quad themselves, drive forward about 4 meters, engage reverse gear and drive back, and then turn the quad off. This allowed one to become somewhat familiar with the vehicle before the actual tour began. Afterward, we received a helmet. However, this seemed somewhat unhygienic, as it had obviously already been worn by many people. A disposable balaclava or hygiene hood would be desirable here from our perspective. After that, the actual tour began. There were a total of about 10–12 quads on the tour. The entire tour lasted around 4 hours, of which about 2 hours was pure driving time. The route led over different surfaces and through various areas. In total, there were three stops: once at a beach, once in a local village, and another time at a beach or harbor. This gave us a small glimpse into the surroundings and life on Zanzibar in addition to the quad riding. Our quad already had a glowing reserve fuel light at the beginning. During the ride, it turned itself off several times while driving over bumpy and rocky passages. Whether this was actually related to the low fuel level, we cannot judge – however, given the situation, a connection would certainly be conceivable. It would make sense here to ensure before the start of the tour that all quads are sufficiently fueled and in perfect technical condition. Important: Definitely wear clothes that can get dirty! 😄 After the tour, we were really covered from head to toe in fine brown dust and sand. We therefore explicitly recommend long pants and a long-sleeved top, as well as clothing that can subsequently be washed without any problems, if possible. In terms of price, we found the tour very fair. Regularly, we would have paid 58 € for two people. Thanks to a discount code, we ultimately only paid 41 € for both of us and one quad. For this price, the experience was reasonable for us and the price-performance ratio was good overall. Conclusion: The quad tour was varied and was generally fun. We especially liked the different routes and stops. However, from our perspective, there is room for improvement regarding the hygiene of the helmets as well as the technical condition and refueling of the quads. Therefore, we give it 3 out of 5 stars. With better-maintained and sufficiently fueled quads as well as more hygienic helmets, a significantly better rating would be possible in our view.

Enjoyable, but be prepared for a bumpy ride and getting dirty due to dirt roads. My ATV cutoff twice and I had to remind the guide to have vehicle maintenance regularly.

No one should go on this tour. I had to email the company to find out the meeting time. It was not listed anywhere on the tour description. I received no answer to three seperate emails. I was able to get in touch with the tour company via the concierge service at my hotel only to be told that the meeting point (also unlisted) is over an hour away from my hotel and since my hotel was so far from the meeting location they will not be picking me up from my hotel as indicated on their own tour description. Being an optimist I decided t take a taxi to them. Upon arrival I had to wait around for about 45 mins while they waited for the guide. I was then taken to 3 locations via quad. The first location was a construction site, the second a beach that looked like a Somalian pirate haunt, and finally a village so depressing that for the life of me I couldn’t understand why I was taken there. Without the joy of driving a quad this would been a soul crushing few hours. Learn from my mistake and book a different quad tour.

This was hands down my most favorite and memorable experience in all my travels around the globe! I seriously mean this. I booked this tour completely last-minute—only a few hours before being picked up at my hotel—without really knowing what to expect. It turned out to be the absolute highlight of my entire time in Zanzibar. Connection: Getting off the beaten path to see real local village life was deeply moving and authentic. Deep Village Connection: The absolute pinnacle of the tour was riding deep into the local tribal villages. This wasn't just a drive-by; it was an authentic, raw, and beautiful cultural immersive experience. Wisdom of the Elders: We had the profound honor of meeting and connecting with the village elders. Sharing moments with them, feeling their warmth, and hearing their stories was an experience that words can barely capture. Pure Joy with the Children: The absolute best part of the day was spending time with the local children. Their smiles, laughter, and high-energy interactions were incredibly uplifting and left a lasting imprint on my heart. The Thrilling Ride: Navigating the dirt paths through the community, agricultural forestry, and cruising along the stunning beaches of Nungwi and Kendwa on the quad bikes was pure adrenaline. Seamless Organization: Even with a last-minute booking, the pickup and organization were completely flawless. The Legendary Guide: Meeting my guide, Deus, was like reconnecting with a long-lost brother. Incredible Energy: His warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality made the entire 4 hours unforgettable. True Professional: He looked out for me, shared local insights, took video and photos, and made the whole experience feel like family time. Tips: - Wear something comfortable as there is a bit of dust in some areas; Sunscreen or long sleeves. - Water is provided. - Bring enough charity money for when you reach the village, to have for buying snacks or rice for the kids — I would say $45usd total can get rice for everyone, if not there are a few available options under that. If you go to Zanzibar, do not hesitate—book this immediately!!!! I highly recommend!!!!!

Like the Dubai deserts activity but for this in extra ordinary in the streets of Zanzibar

I was culturally immersed from the start to the end of the tour and I will never forget this experience of seeing happy faces and smiles through their chants as they gave us a warm welcome. The entire team is amazing; I recommend them. Deus is an amazing tour guide.
