Great tour guide!
Diogo was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever. Right from the start we could tell his high level of knowledge and enthusiasm for truly “teaching” Jewish history in Lisbon and more broadly in Portugal. Several things stood out: 1- his passion for the subject matter and genuine desire to personally continue to learn more; 2- His ability to make history come alive by, for example, on several occasions, beginning a topic: “imagine you are standing here (in a particular year) looking in this direction…..”; 3- Diogo was well-versed in Jewish terms from history, from things you would find in a synagogue, to customs; and 4- Diogo also melded Jewish historical events into more broader history of Portugal.
We could not have been happier with our tour and could not recommend Diogo more highly.

Amazing Jewish History Lesson in Lisbon
Daniel was a really incredible guide. We had such a nice morning with him learning all about the Jewish history of Portugal. Touring the old city of Alfama was especially fascinating as was discovering many artifacts throughout the city bearing proof of a rich Jewish history in Lisbon. Learning about the slow revival of/awareness about the Jewish community was also interesting. We were delighted to see that the city has commemorated Jewish lives lost during the Shoah and also from the massacre of 1506. To top off the experience, we went to the oldest Ginja shop in the city! Daniel was so great! I highly recommend this tour with him!

Lisbon Jewish heritage tour
David was amazing an amazing tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and was so interesting in his presentation. This was our first tour we booked in Lisbon and we were not disappointed an all. Great Tour
Tour guide was great knowledgeable. He made it fun for kids and the stops were great. It was a way hot day and he tried to keep us in the shade as much as he could
