Overall, our experience with the Nile Cruise tour company was very positive. From the beginning, they were professional, punctual, reliable, and very well organized. We felt worry-free from the moment we booked, which made a huge difference while traveling in Egypt. Communication was excellent. We received information and updates shortly after making our booking, and the company also offered additional services, including a private Cairo tour, which we accepted. We were very happy with that experience as well. One thing that was disappointing was the payment method (additional tours) . We had agreed that payment would be made by Visa, but at the last minute we were told that we had to pay in cash. This was inconvenient and frustrating, especially when traveling and planning expenses. We also appreciated the complimentary airport-to-hotel transfer in Aswan. That was a very nice touch and made our arrival much easier. Day 1 – Aswan We were picked up from our hotel and visited the High Dam and Philae Temple, both of which were interesting and well organized. Afterward, our guide told us that we couldn't go to the boat yet, so we were taken to a perfume shop. This was honestly one of the parts of the trip we didn't enjoy. It felt more like a sales stop than part of the tour, and we ended up purchasing something we probably wouldn't have bought otherwise. In my opinion, these types of shopping stops should be optional, rather than something travelers are brought to without being given a choice. The Nile cruise itself was wonderful. We stayed on a 5-star Nile cruise ship, and the ship was beautiful and comfortable. Day 2 – Abu Simbel We woke up around 3:00 AM and were picked up at approximately 3:50 AM for the drive to Abu Simbel. Around 4:20 AM, we arrived at a police checkpoint and waited until approximately 5:00 AM for the road to open. We weren't really sure why we needed to arrive so early at the checkpoint, especially since we spent about 40 minutes sitting in the vehicle without air conditioning. The drive was about 3.5 hours each way, but is Abu Simbel worth it? Absolutely — 100%! It was one of the highlights of our trip and something I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the guiding experience as much. Our guide seemed to be very busy with another group and was rushing between groups, while also dealing with other matters during our visit. The good thing is that we returned to the cruise in time for lunch and had the afternoon to relax. Day 3 – Karnak Temple We left around 7:00 AM to visit Karnak Temple. The tour was well organized, and we returned to the ship afterward. Day 4 – Luxor Luxor was a very busy but incredible day, with several major sites to visit. We visited the Valley of the Kings, where we were told that three tombs were included with the entrance ticket. However, the tombs open to visitors rotate in order to help preserve them, so some of the more famous tombs require an additional fee. We chose to visit Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses IV, which meant paying extra for each. There are also some small additional expenses to keep in mind. For example, the golf cart at the Valley of the Kings costs 25 Egyptian pounds and is cash only. The golf cart at Hatshepsut Temple was also 25 Egyptian (per person) pounds cash only. These aren't major costs, but it's good to know ahead of time so you have cash available. Hatshepsut Temple was absolutely breathtaking and was one of my favorite stops. We then visited Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. There is quite a bit of walking, but being able to see these incredible historical sites in person makes it completely worthwhile. Unfortunately, the day ended with another shopping stop, this time at a stone shop. Again, this was frustrating because we weren't interested in buying anything. I would strongly recommend that the company make these shopping stops completely optional. Travelers should be able to choose whether they want to visit shops rather than feeling obligated to go. Overall Despite a few issues, we had a great overall experience. The company did an excellent job organizing the transportation, tours, timing, and cruise. The guides and drivers were generally professional, punctual, and reliable, and we always felt that the logistics of the trip were well taken care of. Our biggest recommendation would be to eliminate or make the perfume and stone shop stops optional. These stops took away from an otherwise excellent experience and can leave travelers feeling pressured to purchase something. Also, make sure you clarify the payment method in advance, as our agreed-upon Visa payment was changed to cash at the last minute. Overall, we would recommend this tour company and the Nile cruise experience. The organization and reliability were excellent, Abu Simbel was absolutely worth the long journey, the temples were incredible, and cruising the Nile was an unforgettable experience. With a few improvements to the shopping stops and guiding experience, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

The 4 day format is compact yet substantial. The atmosphere was conducive to both relaxation and discussion. The crowd size was a blend of leisure and business.The staff provided discreet and efficient service. This is best for business development or partner trips. A productive informal talk. While sailing from Aswan, we had a crucial conversation with a partner on the deck. The peaceful Nile scenery seemed to soften tensions and led to a breakthrough agreement. The setting definitely played a positive role in our business outcome. The ship functioned as a unique conference venue. Common areas were great for chats. Cabins provided needed privacy. The tours offered impressive talking points. Luxor Temple's scale is a testament to long term vision. The hot air balloon ride was a memorable shared experience. Guides were informative and professional. Logistics were flawless, which is essential when hosting. The trip successfully combined business objectives with impressive hospitality.

My friends and I wanted an active holiday. Our experience was energetic and full of discovery. The admission fee gets you into incredible ancient gyms. The 4 days were packed with physical and visual activity. The atmosphere on board was lively and social. The crowd size was fun and dynamic. The staff kept up with our group's energy. This is best for active friends who hate sitting still. An active adventure story. At Kom Ombo, we decided to climb to a higher viewpoint not on the main path. The guide showed us a safe way up. The view of the Nile bend from up there was spectacular and felt like our own little discovery. It added a sense of adventure to the historical visit. The ship's deck was great for evening socializing. The rooms were just for sleeping, which was fine. The temple visits involved a lot of walking which we enjoyed. Abu Simbel is a marathon of awe. The balloon ride was active but serene. The guide in Luxor kept us moving and engaged. The itinerary has no dead time. You are always going, seeing, or experiencing something new.

Overall, everything was well organized. The boat was pleasant, as was the onboard staff. The guides were great too! A bit disappointed because a hot air balloon ride was included and was canceled at the last moment. I was refunded for the price, but I had to ask to be informed about the cancellation.

Message the tour operator before you book to ensure you are getting what you paid for. Also confirm what is included and what's not and keep copy of it. I booked this over the top rated as the description let me believe that water and other services (such as Wi-Fi) were included (they aren't listed as excluded). My package was description was for a 5* ship and the operator claimed that I was upgraded to a deluxe accommodation. Only after paying I got the name of the ship, and I started to have concerns as photos looked dated and other companies listed it as standard/budget. The tour operator dismissed my concerns. Well, the ship Zeina is indeed dated and shows evidence of poor maintenance. After more than 20 years in service it's on its last stretch (the AC in my first room was broken and they had to move me). Cleanliness was lacking in some areas room chairs, bathroom, etc. and the quality of the air wasnt great (the filter of my CPAP machine turned grey/black). As ships dock together and you have to walk through the reception area of other cruises, you will be able to tell if yours is up to pair. Note that this tour operator does not have presence at the locations, but subcontracts drivers and guides available. This ends up affecting the quality of your experience. I had a couple good drivers and guides, the best in Edfu and Luxor. The worst in Abu Simbel (the guide didn't even come to greet us at the gate as he was handling multiple groups at a time). The tour company changed the schedule, and told me there was no visit to the Luxor temple at arrival on day 3, contrary to what it was advertised. In the last day, they told the driver and the guide I didn't have transfer to the airport. Luckily I had gotten another sim card and I could show the guide that it was indicated on Viator's website. The hot air balloon was cancelled, and I got refunded only $30 USD, which is definitely not what I paid for it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company, and would suggest going with larger, better stablished and reputable tour operators.

Our family trip was comfortable and eye opening. The experience was well managed for parents with kids. The admission fee is transparent, extras are minimal. The 4 day cruise is a great first taste of a Nile journey. The atmosphere was safe, friendly, and stimulating for kids. The crowd size included other families which was reassuring. The staff were exceptionally good with children. This is best for families new to Egypt or cruising. A kid focused moment. The crew held a little Egyptian dress up party for kids one afternoon. My daughter got to wear a scarf and dance. She was shy at first but ended up loving it. It was a fun, cultural touch that wasn't in the brochure and made her feel special. The ship had a shallow pool which was a daily highlight. Family cabins provided needed space. The food buffet had kid friendly staples. The Abu Simbel day is long but broken up by the bus ride. The balloon ride was exciting but calm. The guides made stories kid relatable. The schedule had built in downtime. Sailing time was perfect for family games or naps.

This was one amazing experience. The time spent on the water alone was marvelous. Just observing the sailboats navigate the Great Nile with a glass of wine in hand and the sunset in the foreground was incredible. The staff of the Nile did a tremendous job ensuring that I was comfortable and always taken care of. The tours to the various temples were astounding, informative and overall very educational. All the tour guides did an outstanding job explaining the history and providing the enlightenment I left Egypt with. I will certainly return and will be sure to recommend this cruise to all.

The 4 day journey is a perfect luxurious escape. The atmosphere was one of refined tranquility. The crowd size was intimate and sophisticated. The staff provided anticipatory service. This is best for couples seeking a refined historical getaway. A moment of luxury. Returning to the ship after a hot and dusty temple visit, chilled towels and fresh juice were waiting at the gangway. It was a small touch that felt incredibly luxurious and refreshing, resetting us perfectly for the next part of the day. The ship itself was elegant and quiet. Our cabin had a private balcony. Dining was a refined experience. The tours visited the most iconic sites. Edfu's preservation is remarkable.The hot air balloon ride offered serene, majestic views. The guide at Abu Simbel was exceptionally knowledgeable. The pace was leisurely, never rushed. The entire trip felt like a curated, high end experience.

The experience was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast time, because of our fault, but soon we were served a good breakfast on deck, off-hours.The food very varied and well made. I strongly advise

Cruise was fabulous. A lot of early mornings but worth it. Food was fabulous on board - a lot of variety to suit all diets. Staff were a bit over the top wanting tips and note that at the end of the cruise we were expected to give a ‘all crew tip’ upon check out. Would recommend the Lady Carol. The only thing i could fault was that the pool was a bit dirty. Otherwise great!
