金沢の兼六園は、水戸のair楽園や岡山のK楽園とともに、日本で最も美しい3つの景観庭園の1つとして正当に分類されています。広々とした敷地は、かつて金沢城の外庭であり、支配者の前田家によって2世紀近くにわたって建設されました。 1871年に一般公開された兼六園には、季節ごとに異なる外観の庭園を提供するさまざまな花木があります。
D.T.スズキ博物館（鈴木大拙館、鈴木大雪館）は、著名な仏教哲学者である鈴木大set定太郎（1870-1966）の生涯と作品を記念する小さな博物館です。美術館は、2011年に鈴木が生まれた金沢地区に、兼六園から徒歩10分でオープンしました。展示には、D.T。鈴木の著作を展示する展示があり、訪問者は彼の人生と哲学についてさらに学ぶことができます。さらに、博物館の建築は、D.T。スズキの人生と宗教学の解釈として機能します。清潔でシンプルなラインとオープンスペースを使用すると、訪問者は一時停止して反映されます。

金沢21世紀美術館（金沢21世紀美術館、金沢二十一世紀美術館）は、2004年に兼六園から数歩、金沢のダウンタウンにオープンしました。日本および世界中の著名な現代アーティストの作品を展示し、日本で最も人気のある美術館の一つです。 21世紀博物館の建築は独特で、金沢周辺の他の博物館や建物とは一線を画しています。博物館は、正面玄関や正面玄関のない直径112.5メートルの円形の建物で構成されています。客が美術館に近づかないように、そしてその結果、芸術が一方向からしかできないように、正面も背面もなしに設計されました。

大山神社（尾山神社、大山神社）は、地元の強力な前田氏の最初の領主である前田利家に捧げられています。神社は1599年、利家の後継者である歌津山の前田利長によって建設されました。その後、現在の場所に移動されました。 大山神社は、ヨーロッパとアジアの宗教的テーマの要素を使用して、オランダの建築家によって設計された珍しい門で知られています。最初の物語は日本と中国の影響が混在していますが、上層階はかつて灯台として機能し、オランダ風のステンドグラスの窓が特徴でした。

Our tour of Kanazawa was fantastic. Our Tour Guide Gucci met us at the Kanazawa Station which was an amazing place to start what was to be a wonderful 4 hour Private Tour. Gucci showed us around the 6th most beautiful Train Stations in the world and from there we went to the Geisha, Gold Leaf and Samuri District. Just such an amazing experience which included Gold Leaf Ice Cream (a must have). Very pretty area of the city. The gardens were in full bloom of some spectacular Cherry Blossoms. Went on a morning tour of Kanazawa with Ms. Taka (Takako Aoki) in the lovely June weather. Perfect introduction to Kenrokuen gardens and the samurai district for first time visitors. The tour can be modified on request depending on what you need to see. Taka was very patient with our older children and we all learned a lot. The tour was bundled with a geisha experience, and Taka delivered us to that performance on time. Highly recommended!

Toshi was a great guide. Had the perfect itinerary already worked out but totally agreeable to change anything. Very informative on the history of the castle etc and showed how water was brought from below to form all the beautiful lakes. Lovely tour!

We booked the 4 hour guided tour and we had a perfect afternoon with Yoshi! We visited the castle, gardens and samurai district. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Kanazawa and his timing and delivery of info was excellent. He was very warm and welcoming - and tailored our tour to what we discussed via email in advance. Thank you Yoshi for all your expertise! We had a wonderful time in Kanazawa with our guide, Shoten Sasaki. In 5 hours we covered Nagamachi, the samurai quarter; Lunch at Omicho Market; Oyama Shrine; Gyokusen'inmaru Garden; Kanazawa Castle; and Kenrokuen Gardens. Sho shared detailed knowledge at every stop, was kind and really focused on our having the best experience. We enjoyed our time in Kanazawa and highly recommend Sho for touring Kanazawa!

Yoshi was a wonderful guide. He took us to the places we wanted to see and recommended others. He answered more questions and filled us in on more things than youi could ever get on a group tour. I reccomend this as the best way to see the city.

Our Guide Hideharu Yoshino was excellent and very knowledgeable. His English was very good. Next time we would take a 6hr tour if possible because there is so much to see.

It was my family’s first time in Kanazawa, and we began our first full day in Kanazawa with a 4-hour tour with Yoshi-san. He took us to Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en, and Higashin Chaya District. During our time with him, Yoshi-san built a story about the history of Kanazawa and its everlasting effects on today’s culture and society. He was knowledgeable, explaining in detail about each location we visited and thoughtfully answering any of our question. It was a pleasure spending our afternoon with Yoshi-san, and I would highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Informative and friendly full of interesting facts really enjoyable
Ms. Toshiko, Toshiko-san is a high level guide in Kanazawa area. She gave me a very well organized three hour tour of the samurai district in Kanazawa as well as the geisha district. She offered detailed description of the visited sites including their historical background. I was also very impressed and grateful for her readiness to answer my additional specific questions in our subsequent email exchanges. Her background seems to be very broad and deep. While I am a bit embarrassed to even mention this her English is superb. I recommend her highly.
