The tour guide took us to a place for lunch that many tour operators take their clients to and it was attached to this carpet making company. After lunch we were lead into a room for a sales pitch to buy carpets. This was a real turnoff since we didn’t ask to buy carpets.

Ephesus you didn't disappoint
Tungrel was amazing, we had the most fantastic day, Ephesus was spectacular and our guide was so informative, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Constantly checking what we wanted to see and hear about. We had a lovely lunch and saw Turkish rugs being made.
Everything was so easy and enjoyable.
Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Tour!
Excellent tour at a good value! Our Guide, Memo, was very knowledgeable of the history related to Ephesus and Virgin Mary House. He also made sure that we got back to our ship on time given a tight schedule.

A really enjoyable visit to kusadasi
Mehmet was great. He recommended that we start out early and that made a huge difference. We were among the first to Virgin Mary’s house. And arrived at ephesus before the crowds. He helped us learn not only about the sites we visited but he was very knowledgeable about Turkish history, culture, and life in modern times. Mehmet’s english was superb. At lunchtime We stopped for a delicious and affordable lunch. Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the ship. A really enjoyable visit to kusadasi.

It was busy at the...
It was busy at the attractions so it was nice to be in a small group. We had a little flexibility on what we saw and I appreciated that. The lunch was delicious! Our guide, Nina, was great.

Amazing
The tour guy was excelent super kind he was with us during the whole visit at ephesus, and virgin mary’s house at the end he took us to eat traditional food from turkey, we absolutly recommend it

Ephesus - individual with high-quality information
We (2 adults, 1 child) were welcomed by Ahmet, one of the last German guides in Kusadasi, at the port and together determined our individual route for the day tour with minibus and driver. After visiting the ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus, including hillside houses, library, thermal baths and theatre, we visited the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Ahmet was able to tell us many questions about the sights visited and beyond due to his very good language skills and outstanding expertise. Afterwards, the way to lunch led us to a carpet manufacturer and we were served typical food. After the strengthening we were shown the 1x1 of traditional carpet making. The house of the Virgin Mary was our last stop before heading back to Kusadasi. We learned a lot about the area, the history, the culture and the current situation. We would always prefer such a privately guided tour to a group tour, because the added value outweighs any higher costs.
