The overall experience was wonderful our guide Nancy picked us up on time by our hotel as we drove towards Mount Aetna and their surrounding areas. She explained what we were seeing and shared personal knowledge of the area. We had a great time stopping at various places to see a church to check out some honey, and some wine. The tour up the side of Mount Etna was beautiful stopping at the Sylvestri craters. Nancy was engaging. she was funny and I enjoyed talking to her through the trip our tour finished with a visit to the Gambino winery and the wine. The food and the experience was outstanding. It was a bit pricey close to $500 US for two people, but in essence, it was worth every penny especially when you’re considering that you have a luxury car and driver that attends to all of your needs while you’re experiencing it overall it lasted about six hours and we were returned to our hotel Area at the end of the journey

It’s a lot of food at the wine tasting and over the course of the day. The drive was beautiful. And our guide, Valeria, was very informative. Enjoy every bit of it!

We had a very enjoyable private Etna tour with Sicilian Soul Experience. From the beginning, communications with Angela were excellent — clear, helpful and well organised. Salvo, our driver, was equally good. He was kind, funny, calm and informative, and we always knew what was coming next, which made the whole day feel relaxed and unhurried. The itinerary had a great variety, including a visit to the church in Zafferana, the honey farm and tastings of Sicilian honey, olive oil and other local products, Mount Etna and the Silvestri Craters, followed by a winery visit and wine tasting paired with food. We particularly appreciated how flexible the day was. Salvo adjusted the order of the Etna and Silvestri Craters visits to make the most of the queues and the weather forecast, rather than simply sticking rigidly to a timetable. We chose the Etna 3000 tour with cable car, 4x4 and short hike. Although a cloudy day, so the view wasn't as good as it could be, the experience was amazing. The winery visit with food pairing at the Gambino vineyard was a lovely way to finish, and the whole day felt like a good balance of scenery, local food and wine, and learning about Sicily. We also received a bonus tour of some of the landmarks in Taormina on our way back to the hotel. A very well organised private tour, with excellent communication and a relaxed approach. We would happily recommend Sicilian Soul Experience.

Fantastic experience, definitely to be repeated

A fantastic experience exploring the Etna craters, visiting a typical honey farm, and enjoying a delicious chocolate tasting. The highlight was having lunch among the vineyards during harvest season, surrounded by such a unique atmosphere. A tour I highly recommend!

What an amazing day on Mount Etna! The scenery was spectacular, the winery visit was wonderful, and the Sicilian wines were excellent. We also enjoyed a delicious local lunch that made the experience even more special. Everything was well organized and felt authentic and relaxed. Highly recommended!
