Except of a sales event about oyster pearls we were forced into at the first stop in the beginning and the pretext that plastic bottles were forbidden in the Ha Long Bay so that we had to buy beverages, the trip was great and our guide was competent, funny and attentive though. After I got sinking with my kayak and a bamboo boat of an other group pulled me out of the water, I was delayed to return on the harbour and Johnny made sure everyone comes back aboard the ship and even drove back to pick me up. The meal aboard was varied, tasty and satisfying. So, without sales pressure and with the freedom to have my water with me while hiking, I would definitely book this again.

I expected much less, so I would say it was overall great! If I had to nitpick, I would point out the drinks on the boat are expensive (and they tell you you can't bring your water which on the boat is 50k, cocktails around 120k), and the boat captain parking skills are questionable 😅. But other than that, it was well organized, they did all they promised and it was very fun!

We had a 1 day trip to Ha Long Bay, our guide was Jonny Handsome, he was very professional and amazing time keeper, he made sure everyone knew what to expect. The over all experience is 5/5
We loved our tout with Johnny Handsome !! Very well organized and The Ha long bay is magical. Definitely worth it
Great experience with comfortable bus. And okay food. The vegetarian food was all cold by the time we sat down to eat. Felt slightly rushed but also Johnny Handsome was very well organised and gave lots of clear instructions. Ha Long Bay was very very busy. If you can afford it go for an overnight stay and miss some of the crowds in the evenings. Also check the whether as we had lots of rain.
