Wonderful experience! Our guide Lisa was wonderful! She was fun and had a wealth of information about the island. Our driver Lucas was awesome too- even when we went off road, he made us feel very secure. We had a blast, ate some delicious food and saw so many beautiful sights. Highly recommend this tour! 😊

After a brief discussion, we decided on the tour and knew from the first moment that it would be great. Our guide Filipe was friendly, open-minded, cheerful, and always had a joke on his lips. With him, one felt safe and truly felt like a local. He gave us many tips and some additional knowledge. It was noticeable that the tour was not work but an experience for him as well. It was relaxed and, above all, stress-free! He took us to local restaurants and let us taste the best Poncha. Due to his many years of experience and being a local, he knew the right places and streets. The off-road experience was gigantic. One's heart can really drop when the wheel is just millimeters away from the abyss. Yet, for Filipe, it seemed to be a piece of cake. In addition to the tour stops, he also showed us a waterfall. Gigantic! His own joy at seeing a built wooden house, which is probably the first on the island, was simply beautiful. From start to finish, we had a great experience and an unforgettable ride. Absolutely recommended to each of you. Choose a tour with Ricardo Off Road Madeira; you will be shown quiet corners and streets by locals. They are not large tourist companies and work with love and heart!

A truly wonderful tour with Ricardo Offroad Madeira! Our guide Vitor took care of us from start to finish and showed us places we would never have found on our own. He explained everything in detail, consistently pointed out what to pay attention to, and allowed us to see the island with completely different eyes. Ricardo - what a guy ! Thanks so much for our trip today to the West Side of the island. Lots of fun, beautiful sites and delicious food. Ricardo knows all the best places and has so much knowledge of the island. He was happy to tailor make the tour for us but mainly we went with his suggestions. Beautiful waterfalls, bbq food by the roadside, lots of information about the local plants., stunning views. Throughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend.

On the recommendation of people in our hotel booked a tour with Ricardo, chosen for the west side of the island and set off. The tour was a wonderful experience with many interesting places and a delicious lunch. Ricardo knows a lot about the native Flora and is happy to tell you all about it. We also had very pleasant fellow travelers and eventually had a beautiful day where on Ricardo's recommendation we chose to stay away from the tourist hotspots as much as possible..... Definitely recommended. Two days later decided to visit the other side of Madeira and the choice for Ricardo was actually made immediately. Again had a wonderful relaxing day where we enjoyed ourselves very much. If you want to see Madeira in a casual way without having to walk over the heads of crowds of tourists, this is the best choice we think. We were picked up at the hotel and brought back 8 hours later, enjoyed the surroundings and the delicious lunches we enjoyed at local restaurants outside the usual spots. A fat pass from us!

The ad for the tour implies this to be an open air jeep tour but it was not so in that way it was disappointing. The jeep was also not the right size for 6 people as 2 were crammed into the back storage area. The tour guide however was great and the tour itself was very good.

This was a great tour.Filipe took us to some magical places , and showed us the real, authentic Madiera only the locals know about. Our 2 kids loved it,they wanted to go again! We had an amazing day with Filipe Would highly recommend! Thank you Filipe for the tour!

We did the tour of North-West Madeira with Victor, co-owner of this company, and it was extraordinary! We were five friends and had the opportunity to explore the island in unusual and non-touristy places. In addition to seeing beautiful viewpoints and spectacular landscapes. Victor was very generous with information and insights into the local culture. I also had the opportunity to tour the Northeast of the island with Miguel, a guide from the same company, and it was equally interesting. He speaks English very well. I highly recommend this company; you will be very satisfied with your tour!

This was a great tour. Ricardo took us to some of the places that we would never have found on our own, and showed us the real, authentic Madiera only the locals know about. Would highly recommend!
