It was a fantastic experience, especially the camel ride and the hike to the waterfall. Being in the desert, I didn't expect a huge waterfall, and I wasn't disappointed. Fatima, the guide, was great and informative. We think that the tour was well worth it and not expensive. Be ready for a long hike up and down the mountain. We enjoyed the hike and the surroundings, and I'll be 70 years old in a few months. But I'm used to long walks.

Absolutely fabulous tour. Ismael was an excellent guide and gave us great information. We got a good taste of Berber culture and history. Camel riding was fun. The Berber ladies do a great job of making and selling their Argan products.

An amazing experience and such outstanding value for money! Honestly recommend this- pick up was very clear and simple. Timings were perfect. We had a lovely little breakfast included- the extra for lunch was so cheap and well worth it. The walk was not too physically demanding but saw incredible views, and the camel ride staff were incredible- taking photos and videos for us. It was a whole day activity and well worth it

Great moment and complete change of scenery. You realize the real life of Moroccans outside of Marrakech. A very good mention to our guide Mustapha who was excellent in his explanations in French and of exemplary professionalism. I highly recommend this attraction to you.

A great day trip with many beautiful experiences. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I booked this as a private tour, hoping for flexibility, a good pace, and stunning mountain views. While the landscape was breathtaking, the tour execution fell far short of my expectations and left me frustrated. Here are my reflections: 1. I had specifically requested a French-speaking guide, but my guide did not speak French. 2. The day felt like a series of sales pitches. The guide, Ahmed, was certainly friendly, but he offered virtually no historical, cultural, or local context about the region. Instead, the stops felt manufactured: the first was a "Berber house," which was really just a cosmetic shop, and multiple roadside pull-offs seemed designed entirely to push business onto local vendors rather than to let me take in the sights. 3. The itinerary felt rigid. The guide seemed tied to a strict, pre-determined amount of time at each location rather than matching my active style. 4. This dynamic grew worse once we reached Imlil, where I was handed off to a local walking guide. While the walk itself through the villages and toward the waterfall was awesome, he used even more rigid time requirements at each stop.. When I gestured to keep moving at the first waterfall, the guide simply waved back, stayed put, and ignored me. A similar thing happened later at a village carpet shop. For a private tour where I expected to be in control of my time, I instead felt like a hostage being shuffled from one mandatory commercial stop to the next. By that point, I had had enough, so I told them I wanted to skip lunch and head straight back to Marrakech. He was a little surprised but i think he recognized my frustration. The final walk down the gravel road to meet the driver was pleasant and the mountain views were truly stunning, but the contrived structure of the tour impacted the experience. If you are an active person who likes to set your own pace, I cannot recommend this tour. You would likely have a much better and much faster experience simply renting a car and exploring the Atlas region on your own terms. The roads are safe and well maintained.
