Michele was an excellent guide and went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. She also gave us lots of suggestions on what to do during our own time. Would highly recommend her.

The Suzhou half-day tour with Lulu and Sunny Private Tours was truly wonderful! Lulu is such a knowledgable and thoughtful guide. We had brief discussions with her about places we were interested in visiting, and she gave us a great variety of options for us to choose from. Lulu first walked us through the beautiful Humble Administrator's garden. She shared the fascinating history of the garden and pointed out interesting architectural and cultural features as well as great photo opportunities. We then did a bit of shopping. She recommended several great local shops selling excellent tea, sweets, etc. before walking over to Pingjiang Road, a historic cobblestone street along a canal filled with nice shops and artisans. She then recommended an excellent nearby place for lunch, where we sampled some of the delicious local cuisine, including squirrel-shaped mandarin fish,. noodles with crab meat and roe, noodle soup, and dumplings. She then got a taxi for us to head to another beautiful garden near the Pan Pacific hotel, where we visited Ruiguang Tower and the Ancient Gate Tower. We then walked over to the nearby Silk museum, where a tour guide showed us the fascinating process of how silk is produced. We got to see live silkworms and how silk thread is made from cocoons. Overall, it was a fantastic tour. I can't recommend Lulu and Sunny Tours enough!

The experience and day exceeded our expectations. Sunny, the tour coordinator, was helpful and precise with the communication through WhatsApp. Lulu, our local guide, was cheerful and friendly. She greeted us at the Suzhou train station with our name on a big sign. She knew all the places to visit, took our questions and recommendations, and adjusted the day to our needs. She was also helpful with photo ops, where to eat lunch, where to buy tea and other souvenirs. It was supposed to be half day tour, but Lulu was flexible, generous and gave us hours more of her time. Overall, a great day. Thanks, Sunny and Lulu!

Just took a fantastic tour of Suzhou! Many thanks to tour guide Michelle whose knowledge, upbeat nature, organization, and pre-planning based on our stated interests pulled the experience together beautifully. We explored gardens, historical streets and canals, had a great lunch at a restaurant picked specifically to meet food preferences, went to the silk factory and museum where we were given a historical background in silk production and had the opportunity to purchase beautiful gifts for family at home. Michelle's absolutely fluent English, her excellent eye for photography (she suggested locations for great photos!), explanation of visual symbolism and connections to Chinese language and culture made the tour that much more complete. Kudos also to tour operator Sunny for her proactive outreach for smooth communication. Highly recommend! Passing along tour info to family visiting Suzhou next year.

Great tour for the introduction to Suzhou. Guide was really nice and shared details about each place we visited. We were all jet lagged just off a flight, so may have not been the most friendly and the tour guide did her best to engage with us. Pick up was timely and itinerary customised based on what we wanted to see.

It is a good way to enjoy the day in Shuzou. We were in Shanghai and took the fast train recommended by the guide, at the departure of the train you are waiting for your name, you can visit 2 places, we did The Humble Administrator's Garden and another one recommended by the guide already near the great canal and the main street of the historic center of Shuzou. The guide adapts to your tastes and explains everything very well, even recommends where to take the photos. Then he left us in the great canal to take the boat. He buys your tickets, recommends reliable shops at a good price and even where to eat. With hiring tour with didi is enough, only 2 transfers are made. The rest of the day you shop, cruise and explore on your own 1 hour, then we took Didi to the station and returned to Shanghai. It was perfect for us. Only thing, we recommend going in the morning

The tour organized by the operator was very professional and covered the best places in a short time. The guide LuLu was very informative about everything from gardens to silk trade

Lulu was the most amazing guide! She was so friendly and experienced, and her English was excellent. She told us just enough info so we could appreciate all of Suzhou’s sites, but didn’t overwhelm us. I accidentally booked the wrong date, arrived in Suzhou on the wrong day, and Sunny had Lulu there to meet me within 20 minutes! Thanks to both of them for such flexibility! I highly recommend getting a guide for themSuzhou sites . I live in Shanghai but still find the Suzhou crowds pretty overwhelming. Lulu and Sunny are amazing, don’t hesitate to book with them!

We had a great time, our guide Caroline was excellent and a very kind person. Her English was very clear and fluent. the tour is highly recommended.
