I knew almost nothing about this tour except for the fact that one of my colleagues recommended it, and I’m very happy I took his recommendation! You’ll take winding roads up into the mountain towns of Kerala, seeing how the locals live while learning a bit of history about the area. I think it’s important to point out that you’re in a fairly remote area, so while the resort offers many amenities, you are not staying in a big-city hotel, so be prepared to “rough it” a bit — for example, showers may have low water pressure and not get warm/hot if other guests happen to be using water at the same time. That being said, the payoff is amazing views of the mountainsides and many, many, MANY tea plantations. The houseboat was an incredibly relaxing day of roaming around Vembanad Lake, with meals hand-prepared on the boat. My wife and I are both “foodies” and delighted in picking out the flavors in the dishes. Be aware that the boat will only be air-conditioned while it’s docked for the night. Showers are also rustic on the boat. Our driver Afsal was wonderful; he knew loads about the area and graciously and knowledgeably answered our incessant questions about the area, the food, the local customs, history, government, etc. He also came through for us in a big way: we found ourselves stuck in heavy traffic on our way to the airport because of a wreck on the main highway, and were in danger of missing our flight. Thanks to his knowledge of the local streets, Afsal was able to pivot and jump onto local streets to bypass the delay, getting us to the airport with time to spare!

A lovely anniversary trip!

Glad I did this.
Great organisation and communication throughout. Sara was great in tour design and support, Sanju the driver/guide was an experienced driver on the crazy roads here, making me feel quite safe. He was also flexible, suggested many things and very punctual.Thank you to these two individuals in particular who mad my trip just excellent. If I did it again I would have 2 nights on the houseboat which was so relaxing, educational and served the best food I have had since being in India for 14 days so far.

Memorable Days
We had a wonderful and truly memorable honeymoon trip to Kerala. ❤️ We visited Munnar and Alappuzha, and the entire trip was beautifully planned and well organised. Munnar was amazing, with its breathtaking views, lush greenery, waterfalls, Glass Bridge, and Zipline. Every place we visited added something special to our journey. The highlight of our trip was Alappuzha. The beautiful backwaters and the private houseboat experience were truly special and made our honeymoon even more memorable. Everything went smoothly, and we were able to enjoy the trip without any major hassles. A special thanks to Sara, our Trip Advisor, for planning and coordinating everything so well. She was very helpful throughout the trip and made sure everything was arranged perfectly. We would also like to give a special thanks to Babu Antony, our driver, for being so friendly, patient, and supportive throughout the journey. His safe driving and helpful nature made our travel comfortable and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a beautiful start to our new life together. ❤️ We will always cherish these memories and would definitely recommend this trip to our friends and family. Best Honeymoon package

A Memorable Kerala Trip
Had a lovely Kerala trip. Everything was well arranged by Mr George. Our guide Mr. Vipin was very friendly, decent, and helpful throughout the journey. We especially enjoyed the flora and fauna, Periyar boating, and Munnar National Park. Spice Grove Hotel was excellent as well. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended!🎊

Very good, satisfying
Over all the Trip was very good and satisfying . However ,the houseboat was advertised as a luxury house boat,but it didn't feel luxurious and didn't meet our expectations. We highly recommend our driver "Vipin". he is Excellent driver! Very polite, punctual, and drove safely throughout the trip. The vehicle was clean, and he made our journey comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!"

Memorable Family Vacation to Kerala
We had an amazing 4D/3N family trip to Kerala (Munnar & Allepey) through Iris Holidays and the entire experience was amazing. A special thanks to Mr Kannan, who planned and guided our itinerary perfectly for our family. The accommodation was provided at Lake N Hills resort making our stay truly memorable. Resort was peaceful, clean and comfortable. The highlight of our trip was the private boat house in Alleppey. The experience of cruising through the backwaters was memorable and the food served on the houseboat was delicious. A special thanks to our driver, Mr Monesh, who played a role of driver, guide and photographer. He was professional, polite, and energetic. His driving was smooth and safe. Overall, Iris Holidays provided excellent. Thanks to the entire Iris Holidays team for memorable trip.
