Our trip with Khalid was literally amazing from beginning to end! He is such a kind, friendly, and professional guide, and he made our experience in Muscat truly unforgettable. We visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Al Alam Palace, several beautiful forts and historical monuments, and of course Mutrah Souq. Every place we visited was absolutely beautiful, but what made the experience even more special was having Khalid with us. Khalid is incredibly knowledgeable about Oman. He shared so much fascinating information about Omani culture, traditions, history, and heritage, and he explained everything with so much passion and enthusiasm. You can really feel that he loves his country and is proud to share its beauty and history with visitors. He was also very respectful, helpful, welcoming, and genuinely caring throughout the entire trip. Thanks to him, we didn’t just visit beautiful places — we truly learned about and experienced the spirit of Oman. It was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences we had in Muscat, and we are so happy that Khalid was our guide. If you are visiting Oman, we highly recommend having Khalid as your guide! Khalid made what could have been a standard city tour into one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment we met, he had a calm, welcoming presence that immediately put me at ease. He’s soft-spoken, genuinely kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Muscat, Oman, Islam, and the broader Middle East. No question was off limits. Whether it was history, religion, culture, or current events, he answered thoughtfully and honestly without ever making the conversation feel rushed. During the tour we visited the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, explored the Mutrah Souq, saw the Al Alam Palace, and even drove into the mountains for a completely different perspective of the city. Along the way, Khalid introduced me to Omani coffee, dates, sweets, and local traditions, making the experience feel authentic rather than scripted. What stood out most was how personal the day felt. I never felt like I was being rushed from one attraction to the next. Instead, it felt like spending the day with a local friend who genuinely wanted to share his country, his culture, and a glimpse into his own life. I felt completely safe the entire time, found myself laughing throughout the day, and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Oman and its people. If you’re considering a tour in Muscat, don’t hesitate. Khalid is not only an outstanding guide, he’s a genuinely good person. I hope our paths cross again someday.

This half day tour of Muscat was perfect to see the main attractions in just 4 hours. Pickup and return at the hotel were smooth and right on time. Vehicle was comfortable and my guide Nasr was fantastic! Nasr gave me all the essentials about the beautiful sites we visited and we even chatted about the World Cup and football in general. Nasr also kindly took many pictures during the tour and then sent them to me. I highly recommend Nasr and this tour.

I was so extremely fortunate to take this tour with Khalid. Khalid is a wonderfully generous and knowledgeable guide. We were able to spend a lot of excellent time at the spectacular Grand Mosque with Khalid carefully explaining the cultural, religious, and architectural significance of this amazingly beautiful mosque. We were also able to visit the Muttrah Souq and see the various markets (and sample some treats!), as well as climb up the Muttrah fort overlooking the city. We then took an exceptionally scenic drive through the mountains observing the forts and AlAlam Palace along the way. Finally, we saw the Muscat Opera House. Along the way, Khalid explained the cultural and historical significance of the sites. He is the most personable guide and he generously shared more of Muscat with me than I could have ever hoped for. I feel blessed to have shared this time in Muscat with Khalid and I couldn't recommend this tour with him strongly enough.
