Perhaps a bit expensive, but provided excellent private car to the winery, and the tour was incredible. We were guided by the amazing Valeria, she was entertaining and clearly knew her stuff. Afterwards, we had a great wine tasting, live music playing for each of our home countries. Truly a unique, interesting experience.

The experience of the visit with the little train is pleasant: there is also a short promotional film with a tasting of sparkling wine. The thrill of going down into the cellars is fascinating, but at the same time, you get bored shortly after: it is true that they tell the history and the types of wine kept there... that was my impression. Certainly visually striking and interesting to discover that all the excavated material was used to build part of the city of Chisinau: therefore an excellent solution to maximize excavation, cellar, and waste material. Inside, they also bottle products made with the Champenoise method, and at the end of the visit, you can buy local wines: I bought a case of local champagne and a white (tasted at the restaurant outside) not bad at all. There is also a visit with an olfactory experience and an attached lunch, but I think it costs a lot...

Terrible. Starting with the commuter train where the bench they provide is for 3, but only 2 normal, non-anorexic people fit, seats facing backward for an excursion is too much, and ending with the guide who did not contribute anything interesting, noteworthy that would stick in your head. Thanks to the movie that told the history. Other than that, nothing interesting. It is like you had read a history book- dry and with dates. Not even in comparison with the Milesti wineries. And all that for a VERY EXAGGERATED price.

We had expected a bus and were driven very comfortably by car to Cricova. At our booked time, a guided tour in German and English took place at the same time and we decided to use German. Overall, we were 8 in our group. First we went with an open kart a few kilometers through the underground tunnels. The first stop was at an underground cinema, where we had a glass of sparkling wine for the explanatory film. We continued to the champagne production and the storage compartments of the wine collections. Our guide spoke very good German, had a lot of interesting information for us and answered all our questions in detail. The wine tasting was a successful conclusion. We loved it and we would definitely book this tour again.

A fun trip, great attention to the tourist. We felt pampered during the trip. Visiting Cricova is a really nice experience. Good!

Beautiful places to see, with more calm

Amazing experience in Cricova winery, I was travelling by myself the only English person there, by the end of it I had 12 friends from 5 different countries including the guide, great atmosphere, super interesting, very easy

Beautiful experience and to try the very good guide even if the taxi driver could not speak English and also who had organized the tour required us another 20 euros even if I had actually already paid a tour for 4 glasses ..
