石灰岩の露頭に位置するバトゥ洞窟は、ユニークで魅力的な洞窟寺院です。バトゥ洞窟は 3 つの大きな洞窟で構成されており、メインの洞窟には華麗なヒンズー教の神殿があります。ここでの訪問のハイライトの 1 つは、寺院に続く 272 段の階段を登ることです。
標高 421 メートル、海抜 94 メートルのブキット ナナスの頂上にそびえ立つ KL タワーは、街のスカイラインの際立った特徴です。その建築は、国のイスラム遺産を反映しており、アラビア文字、イスラムタイル、古典的なイスラムの花と抽象的なモチーフ、落ち着いた色の組み合わせが細部にまでこだわっています。
高さ 451.9 メートルの壮大なペトロナス ツイン タワーは、現代マレーシアの世界的に有名なアイコンです。クアラルンプール コンベンション センター、スリア KLCC ショッピング モール、星付きホテル、モスク、手入れの行き届いた KLCC 公園などのランドマークで構成されるクアラルンプール シティ センター (KLCC) 開発の中心的存在です。 41 階のスカイブリッジと 86 階の展望デッキをご覧ください。 注 : 空港からクアラルンプール市内までは約 40 分かかります。
国定記念物は、特に共産主義の脅威に対する国家の闘いの中で、平和と自由のために命を落とした人々を認識し、敬意を表するために建てられました。国定記念物敷地内には、世界最大の自立型ブロンズ彫刻があります。 1966 年に、ワシントン DC にある有名な硫黄島記念碑の作成者でもあるフェリックス デ ウェルドンによって彫刻されました。
ムルデカ スクエア/独立広場は、スルタン アブドゥル サマド ビルの真向かい、ロイヤル セランゴール クラブのすぐそばにあります。これは、1957 年 8 月 31 日の真夜中のストライキで、連邦旗が下げられ、マラヤの旗が初めて掲げられた歴史的な場所です。それ以来、ムルデカ スクエアは毎年恒例の独立パレードの会場となっています。
象徴的なスルタン アブドゥル サマドの建物は、ムルデカ スクエア/ダタラン ムルデカの前にある 19 世紀後半 (1890 年) の建物です。建物の建築様式は独特のムーア様式で、時計塔は K.L. のビッグ ベンのようです。
マスジット ネガラは、市内で最も有名なランドマークの 1 つです。星型のドームと高さ73mのミナレットが特徴的。マスジット ネガラのデザインは、近代建築と伝統的なイスラム芸術、書道、装飾の要素を組み合わせています。訪問者は、モスクを訪れる際に適切な服装をすることをお勧めします。女性はヘッドスカーフを着用する必要があります。

Great glimpse in Kuala Lumpur. I loved the Batu Caves and saw the different sites within the town. I had an 8-hour layover. Would recommend a 10-hour layover to slow the day down a little bit. Geva was a great guide.

We asked for 4 of the 9 hours of plane transit back to Tokyo from Sri Lanka on our Kuala Lumpur tour! The driver, CHA, was very kind to me. At the tourist spots often, they took pictures and adjusted the time, so we could see the Kuala Lumpur buildings efficiently. It was really good because I didn’t go around everything myself!
