You buy a tour to make the trip convenient. This tour, with the exception of the guide, left you to your own devices. So not value for money (what I had to do was the same as the “backpackers” - even worse as Travel Mart (the bus company and I found out also the employer of the guide) did not recognise your travel voucher and asked me to pay again for the bus journey. I might as well have handled everything myself for c.50% of the cost.
