Douglas was the perfect person to plan my Kenya trip from the very beginning. Even while I was still in India, he was always responsive and patient with all my questions, which made me feel completely at ease. A friend recommended him to me, and I’m so glad I trusted that suggestion. As a solo traveler, it’s important for me to have someone who truly understands the routes and ensures I experience the beauty of the destination without stress and Douglas did exactly that.

Was recommended this tour by a friend - and I can honestly see why. The views were great! From the animals to the landscapes. I was in the very capable hands of my experienced guide, Simon - he was informative, keen eyed and is always good for a great conversation. Because of him I was able to spot the Big 5 with ease! A good bloke above all else. I also have to applaud the coordinator, Kelvin’s ability to put together an extensive and thorough 4 day itinerary for me on less than 24 hours notice. The wildlife camp and hotel I stayed at were both very clean and comfortable! I went during the off season so the accommodations weren’t very full so definitely a good time to go for introverts or those who prefer quiet evenings. The next time I come back to Kenya I will definitely be utilising Rustic Nature Tours again to see the other parks that I couldn’t catch this time around - might even consider a balloon tour also!
