10/10 the tour guide Stark was very knowledgeable and caring. Water was provided and it was very relaxing. War memorial was very sad.

We had a great trip, worth every cent. Joey (our guide) was really wonderfull. Speaks english very well, explains a lot, also provides a lot of background information so you feel more at home. The chauffeur and Joey were a great team, no waiting time. I recommend this as a must do in Saigon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Fantastic tour with an outstanding guide!** My son and I did the 4-hour small-group Saigon City Tour today, and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Our guide, Joey, was exceptional. She had a great sense of humour, was warm and courteous, and had an impressive knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture. She happily answered every question I threw at her. On the one occasion she wasn't completely sure of an answer, she was quite open about it, promised to research it, and actually came back to us later with the information. I really appreciated that. What stood out most was Joey's genuine enthusiasm. I've been on tours before where you get the feeling the guide is simply going through the motions, but this was completely different. Joey genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing, and that enthusiasm came through in the way she explained Vietnam's history, culture and everyday life. It made the whole experience much more engaging. She was also very attentive to everyone in our small group, particularly an older member who had some physical limitations. Joey was always conscious of the pace and made sure everyone was comfortable without making a fuss about it. For my son and me, four hours was also just about the perfect length. With Saigon's heat, humidity and occasional rain at this time of year, we were able to see and learn a great deal without the tour becoming exhausting. A really enjoyable, informative and well-paced introduction to Saigon, made particularly memorable by an excellent guide. Joey is a wonderful ambassador for Vietnam, and I would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

This afternoon city tour was a perfect way to see a number of different sites and learn about their history and cultural importance. Great communication prior to the tour regarding pick up time and place. Joey, our tour guide, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and a good communicator, as well and personally fun and kind. Would highly recommend this half day tour.

Joey is an exceptional guide — incredibly knowledgeable, articulate, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing Ho Chi Minh City. This was one of the highlights of my visit. Everything went smoothly from the moment I booked. I had originally reserved a tour with another company, which unfortunately was unable to provide the promised service. Luckily, I found Asiana Link. They responded immediately, confirmed everything quickly, and the entire experience from that point forward was seamless. Because it was low season, my small-group tour unexpectedly became a private tour — an incredible bonus. Joey was fantastic from beginning to end. We started at the Emperor Jade Pagoda, where Joey provided fascinating insight into local religious traditions and practices. From there we visited the beautiful Saigon Central Post Office, full of wonderful period detail — and also a great place to pick up charming postcards for family and friends. Joey then gave me an excellent tour of Independence Palace, with its stately rooms and extraordinary sense of history. You really feel the weight of the events that took place there. We also visited the War Remnants Museum, which was an extremely powerful and moving experience. The museum offers an important perspective on the tragic and complex history of the war and is, in my opinion, an essential stop while visiting the city. We ended on a completely different note at Ben Thanh Market, which was enormous fun. Coffee, nuts, dried mango, bags, wallets, snake wine — you name it. It’s a terrific place to browse and load up on souvenirs and gifts. Along the way, we also stopped for Vietnamese coffee and saw a fascinating demonstration of the traditional lacquerware process, with another opportunity to shop for locally made gifts. Our driver was excellent as well — always ready when we emerged from a stop, with a wonderfully cool, comfortable, air-conditioned SUV waiting for us. What really made the day special, though, was Joey. The depth of knowledge was extraordinary, but just as important was the warmth, positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to make every stop engaging. I never felt rushed, and the tour naturally extended beyond the scheduled time because we were having such a great time exploring and talking. Considering the price, the value was remarkable. I also learned that Asiana Link offers many other tours and experiences, and I will absolutely look at booking with them again on a future visit. I cannot thank Joey enough for such an amazing, fascinating day. If you’re considering this tour, do not hesitate to book — and if you’re lucky enough to have Joey as your guide, you’re in excellent hands. Highly recommended!

I had walked around District 1 during a short layover in Saigon two years ago, and on this return trip I wanted a tour that would give me some of the highlights in the limited time I had. Although I hadn't booked a private tour, I ended up being the only person on the tour that day, which was a nice bonus. Hung was an awesome guide and gave me a quick history lesson at each of our stops. I already had some knowledge of the history from my previous visit, so he adapted his approach and shared some of the lesser-known facts and details that the average tourist may not necessarily ask about. I really appreciated that. We visited the Central Post Office, Jade Emperor Pagoda, War Remnants Museum, and Reunification (Independence) Palace. I felt like I was given a good amount of time at each location. Hung would give me a detailed explanation before giving me plenty of time to explore on my own. I will probably return to the War Remnants Museum on another trip because an hour really only allowed me to get an overview of everything there. That said, if you have limited time in Saigon, an hour is still enough to see the main exhibits and come away with a much better understanding of the history of the wars and their impact on Vietnam. At Reunification Palace, Hung personally guided me through the building rather than just giving me an introduction and sending me off on my own. He shared a wealth of information about not only the history of the palace itself, but also the leaders who lived and worked there. This was probably one of my favourite parts of the tour because there was so much more to the building than I would have understood if I had simply walked through it by myself. I absolutely recommend this tour if you're looking for an easy way to see some of the important landmarks in and around District 1 while also learning about their history. It worked especially well for me because I only had a short time in Saigon and wanted to make the most of it. And if you're lucky enough to get Hung as your guide, even better.
