I had a great experience with Abduo during my trip to Egypt. He took me to Saint Simon’s Church, Garbage City, Anubis Fragrance, and the pyramids, and also made sure I got to the airport on my last day. He was friendly, reliable, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Everything was well organised and the price was excellent. Can’t recommend him enough

We took a tour to Saint Simone monastery, city of the dead and garbage city and everything was very good. Good organization and attention throughout. The guide, Abduo abdelaziz explains the history of Egypt very well, in addition to being a very attentive and competent person. Recommended experience!

The tour guide explained the tour was just 2 hours because of the light traffic on Friday morning. Still driver and guide were half an hour late for the pick up. I thought it was an accident but having another tour (again Friday morning), again half an hour delayed pick up, it looks more like a habit. The tour was interesting but we stayed very little in the City of the Dead and I didn't get to see any of the special buildings, even if I asked for it and insisted. We did enter one of the usual buildings.

I will start with the good. The guide Hitham was excellent. Such a good person, very kind and friendly; I had a great time with him and the driver. We drove through Garbage City and were able to walk for about 10 minutes, which was incredible. The visit to the monastery was also very good. I was the only one on the tour, so it was totally private. Everything was going perfectly until we arrived at the City of the Dead and drove around for about 10 minutes, got out a couple of times, and they showed me some empty tombs locked with padlocks to “prove” to me that people don't actually live there. At that point I was speechless; I didn't know what to say. I have seen dozens of YouTube videos showing the reality of the million people who live there. I tried to talk about it with Hitham, but he kept insisting on how people could live there if the tombs don't even have roofs. Then he told me that we couldn't go into more places because they were very narrow streets and the car couldn't pass through there. So the “tour” of the City of the Dead was driving along the highway next to the cemetery and seeing a couple of tombs. I definitely would not recommend the tour if, like me, you wanted to walk through the cemetery and hopefully be able to see the reality of the people who live there. I could have done another tour that I later saw was a 2-hour “walking tour” of this area and thus been able to see what I wanted to see, but I am unfortunately leaving Cairo now, so I wasted my time. I really appreciate the kindness, the attention, and the help, but I feel quite sad and disappointed.

Abdul was an absolute standout—deeply knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. When friends urged us not to miss the Civilization Museum, we asked if he’d be willing to adjust our plan, even though it wasn’t part of the original itinerary. Without hesitation, he made it happen. Inside the museum, he brought history vividly to life with infectious enthusiasm. And just when we thought he’d already gone above and beyond, he insisted on still taking us to the City of the Dead because he didn’t want us to miss a single highlight. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Excellent tour, very interesting parts if Cairo not seen by many tourists. Wish our guide wanted to spend more time at the City of the Dead, but he seemed a little nervous about it. He was a very nice guy otherwise.

The tour is highly recommended. Abdul is an excellent guide. He provides interesting information about the history of Egypt and the locations visited. He gave us a lot of useful tips for other planned visits and our stay in Cairo.

We had a great morning with Haitham. The tour was very complete. We were picked up on time right outside our hotel. Haitham was very accommodating on the tour, he adapted to our desires. He gave us a lot of information about what we were observing. PS: thank you again for the candles;)

I loved our guide, he was so knowledgeable, informative and such a nice person, Hitham was definitely the best guide we have had to date in Egypt and made this tour memorable, loved our time. Would highly recommend doing any tour with him, even though we were doing garbage city his knowledge on Alexandria, pyramids and history surpassed the actual guides we had for those tours and we learned more about those places by just chatting to him than when we actually visited. Thank you Hitham you are the best
