We had an amazing experience on safari with African Sermon Safaris. We booked via viator after a lot of research and Daniel was very helpful, reassuring and responsive. Our tour guide Jeremy was also very patient, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. We travelled with our parents and he was very accommodating. We managed to see 4/5 of the big five and a buffalo kill by lions in daylight! Lake Nakuru was a good add on for seeing rhinos and Rothschild giraffes albeit no flamingos. The Lake navaisha boat trip was definitely worth it to see hippos up close. The vehicle was reliable and had functional seatbelts. The accomodation was exactly as promised with no last minute changes. Both accomodations ( Sopa lodge and lake Nakuru lodge) offered good vegetarian food and even eggless dessert options. Overall a 5* experience which I would definitely recommend. Thank you African Sermon Safaris for a memorable dream come true!

We had 8 days on this amazing safari - everyone was wonderful, the food quality was amazing and our guide (John) was a true master of the Mara. He was able to locate every animal we could imagine, and had deep connections to the people and the landscape in the region. He was patient and supportive - extremely knowledgeable, and made the holiday an adventure. Daniel helped us organise and book the trip and he was super-helpful and open to changes as we extended our visit. We will come again.

Just got back from Africa and we did the 5 day Mara trip with African sermon. We saw amazing animals at Mara but our accommodations at the lechada camp were very disappointing. The grounds are in rough shape and the walk ways are missing stones and not well lite. They also have bobbed wire near the walk ways which I got cut on. The showers do not have hot water at all times, like after the safari trips and our toilet rarely flushed. The bathroom areas are concrete divided by 3 half concrete walls pretty rough. They used red paint which ran and looked like blood to write on the walls like turn off the water. The food was not great and repeated every other day. If you’re a vegetarian it’s beans everyday and minimal vegetables or fruit. We did not follow the itinerary and did not stay in hotels as listed. Our guide sent us out on the baat ride to crescent island when it was clearly going to storm. This was on our way to our hotel, when the itinerary stated an evening cruise. We all got soaked the ride was cut short, and we had to find our guide when we got back, getting soaked. It was my first experience in Africa and was disappointed in this Aspect. We loved all the animals! Just amazing.

We saw 4 out of 5 (African Bif 5). The reason for that was the weather it was a bit rainy in the morning which was a bit of bad luck in Masai Mara in January. I really recommend this tour. The company is very flexible and professional, willing to accomodate your needs to make the best personalized experience for you. I even had to post-pone my trip one year due to family troubles and they had no problem saving my trip payment and changing the date for me! I want to especially recommend our tourguide, Stanley, who was so kind, knowledgable, hard-working, and fun! I loved going on the safari with Stanley and hope to return to Kenya to experience more of this beautiful country!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Simply a top notch safari, the first contact with Daniel via email was immediately reassuring, he told me exactly what we would do on the safari days. The lodges we stayed in went well beyond expectations, top! Our guide Peter with more than 20 years of experience made sure we saw all 5 Bigs.

We did the 5 day tour of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha. The tour was very well planned, a couple of intesne days at Masai Mara and then more chill, but equally fun days in the other places. The lodging, even in our budget option, was very good, we enjoyed every place! Food was also nice and diverse, tourist friendly but still local. We had a super good guide (Kikitu) who fulfilled every one of our extra wishes and did a bunch of overtime! Super recommended (4 people).
