Island is very agricultural. Beautiful and well worth the drive. Our guide Danielle was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend time with. Learned a lot about history and local politics.

It was nice having a private tour guide drive us around and enjoyed going to see a waterfall. We booked the tour guide for 4 hours and she decided to drive in the country side for over an hour. I asked a couple times where were going next and if we were almost there. The 2nd time I asked she asked if I thought the drive was too long and I said yes. She got very quiet after this. She also made some political comments about not feeling safe crossing the border into the US. If she feels this way she should keep the comments to herself.
I’m surprised by your complaints, given the care and generosity you received. You booked a 4-hour tour of Île d'Orléans and the falls, yet your guide extended it to 5 hours and added a second winery stop at no extra cost—just to make sure you were happy. You asked several questions and got honest answers. If honesty wasn’t what you wanted, maybe those questions were better left unasked. You got a discounted rate, extended time, and personalized service—yet still found fault. You didn’t just get a tour. You got time, effort, and generosity.
