A fantastic day with Marko and Milan touring Perast and Kotor. The day started with a personalised pick up from our hotel. Marko was extremely friendly and welcoming with impeccable English. After introducing us to our driver for the day, Milan, Marko checked exactly what we wanted to see and do and proceeded to provide interesting and detailed insights into the history and culture of Montenegro, while enroute to our first stop, in Perast. Milan’s driving was extremely safe and the car was very comfortable. Perast is beautiful, and well worth a visit. Marko arranged our seats for the crossing to the Lady of the Rock and provided valuable commentary along the way, pointing out lots of things that we would have definitely missed on an unaccompanied tour. We stopped and had a coffee together on the port side , chatting like old friends after only a short while together, branching out into family, values and football, to name a few topics. It made the whole experience very relaxed. He dropped us at the restaurant that we had chosen for lunch and then met us afterwards to take us onto Kotor. Marko then took us on an insightful tour of Kotor’s old town, covering all 5 squares and then left us ample time to wander around, do a bit of shopping and have a relaxing coffee. Although the tour technically had a time limit, Marko often mentioned, time is not an issue and we should take as long as we wish. We chatted all the way back to the hotel about the country, history and culture…..and a bit more about football too! A fantastic day which was excellently managed by Marko and Milan. My wife and I would highly recommend this tour

We are a couple who love travelling and have travelled to many countries over many years using a number of private guides over the years. Marko was without question the BEST guide we have ever had the fortune to have met. He was engaging, warm, incredibly knowledgeable about history, culture, art, music, politics and geography. He told us so much about the land of Montenegro and we felt we got to soak up the beauty through his eyes and love for his exquisite country. Our time spent with him are amongst our most treasured experiences and we would recommend Marko as someone who without question will give you the best 5 star experience. Whatever you do make sure you have an opportunity to have Marko as your guide.
