First of all: the nature is wonderful and most boats are beautiful. But than: be aware that after you booked, you are part of the mass tourism and the ‘minimum service approach’ of your tour company. This is not bad by definition, but here is how it works: 3D/2N means you get to the big boat from the harbor by small boat, that just delivered the people coming from the big boat, at about 11.45. The big boat goes out for about 1 - 2 hours while you get lunch, your room and some explanation. Than you go for kayaking and swimming. For nature lovers somewhat unnecessary. After that the big boat goes out for another hour. Dinner and - yes - karaoke. In the middle of about 10 others cruises. Second day you have an early light lunch (!) and are ‘forced’ to leave your room and go on day tour with another small boat to the (uninteresting) fisher village island. To come back end of day, after another (unnecessary) kayaking and swimming. In the meanwhile they send the 2D/1N group together with the 3rd day of the 3D/2N group to the cave (beautiful). These groups come back on the boat at about 08.30. The boat starts heading back to harbor, while you get lunch (!) at 09.45 upon you must have cleared your room. That’s why you have a ‘light’ breakfast only to be hungry early. And that’s how they offer you the ‘3rd day with lunch’. You leave the big boat at 10.45 in the small boat, that will pick up the new people, either day your either 2D/1N either 3D/2N. You may admire their logistics. But it is minimalistic from start to the end. Mass tourism at one of the most beautiful places in the world. A shame. Best option would be to get a small boat at the harbor and do it all on your own. But that is of course a lot of work as well. The better example is in Ning Ding where they to the river to in in numerous small rowing boats. The same amount of people with a lot more charm.
