シャモニー モンブランは、ジュネーブ空港からフランス南東部のアルプ地方のオートサボア県まで車で 1 時間の距離にあります。 1924 年に第 1 回冬季オリンピックが開催されました。毎年 250 万人以上の観光客が、雪山の美しさ、伝統的なフランス料理、スキー、マウンテン バイク、トレイルなどの山岳アクティビティを求めて訪れます。 シャモニー市内中心部のガイドなし日帰りツアーに参加し、ヨーロッパのトップでショッピングを満喫しましょう。
シャモニーの中心部からは、かわいい赤い氷河列車に乗ってモンタンヴェールに行き、世界的に有名なメール ド グラース氷河の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。メール ド グラースは複合渓谷氷河で、モンブランの真北、標高約 4,000 メートルの高地を覆う雪原から氷ができています。全長 12 キロメートルを流れ、面積は 32 平方キロメートルです。 象徴的な赤いモンタンヴェールの列車は、長さ 5 キロ強 (3.2 マイル) のラック アンド ピニオン (または歯車) 鉄道を走り、シャモニーから 1,913 メートルの頂上の駅まで蛇行して登ります。この列車は 1908 年に路線がカイエ駅に停車したときに初めて使用され、1909 年に頂上まで全線開通しました。
エギーユ デュ ミディは、アルプスの頂上 3842 メートルにあるシャモニーの主要な観光スポットの 1 つです。ケーブルカーで簡単にアクセスできます。パノラマの景色を眺め、スナックバーでコーヒーを飲み、レストランでランチをお楽しみください。すべては地上3842メートルで行うことができます。夏でも気温がマイナス10度まで下がることもあるので、冬用のコートをご持参ください。

We had a wonderful day with Gabor. He picked us up at our hotel in a spacious minivan and we drove to Mont Blanc. He did not accompany us in the cable cars to Aiguille Du Midi, but we had time to explore at the top. Unbelievable views all around. After we came back down, we walked into Chamonix for lunch then took the cogwheel train to the Mer de Glace glacier. Hiking down & exploring the ice cave was another wild experience. Gabor was a kind and informative guide and the day was well-planned & paced. People should know this does not include lift or train tickets, complain accordingly. Overall, it was a day very well spent.
Great trip with a great host. Learned a lot and my wife and I had a blast, A+++. Would highly recommend.
We missed the ice cave by one day & the gondola to top was closed due to wind. Yet, our guide, Gabor, was wonderful as we toured the area. Rode the train up to the caves and were able to see the glacier. The views were breathtaking!
We had great experiences! A lot of things to learn and see ! We also had a great tour guide - Garbor. He picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, went over the plan and schedule to make sure we were able to catch everything for the trip. He walked with us through the tour and gave us the short description or history of the place is. Besides visiting the places that we would like to see, while we were in the car traveling, not only Gabor tried to get the responses for all our varieties of questions, but also provided the trip suggestions during our stay. Had a perfect time & Highly recommended - a small group tour !!
