We went on the 360 degree walk, boat and helicopter tour with our guide Francisco. This was an amazing experience and made that way by our fantastic tour guide Francisco, what a knowledgeable man and so very pleasant. Hopefully for anyone reading this and planning on booking this tour I do hope that you have this wonderful man to escort you. Thank you very much Francisco.
A pretty good and informative experience, definitely worth the price and time. Just be ready for an about an hour long walk with highs and lows and slippery Lisbon walkway. The helicopter ride could have a gone a little deeper into the main areas though.
I offered this experience to my husband to have a heli flight baptism. The entire guided tour was spectacular. The guide Rui super attentive, friendly and everything he transmitted was well sustained in historical terms. The boat ride was very quiet and relaxing. I recommend. The flight was wonderful! We want to repeat.
The guide Rui was spectacular throughout this experience and we really liked me and my wife...... We will definitely repeat the experience
The tour guide Ricardo Dias was great! The detailed explanations he gave, the relaxed way he gave them and all the insights shared made this a great experience.
Ricardo is a great guide with alot of knowledge. Would go again! Warm recommendations for a guided tour with Ricardo!🌞
This tour was so unorganized and unprofessional. Our guide hauled his scooter around with us because he was so irresponsible he lost his key The tour specifically stated no more than 8 people and they added another 8-it made it difficult to hear the guy and was so tacky! False advertising!!! Our guide was the worst guide I've had in over 200 tours I've used by Viator- Poor communicator complaining about his company and how he has to go every thing. He smoked in front of us so gross and he was smelly. We waited endlessly for a tram and kept walking to n from tram. When we finally get on we go up to a hill top that over look cruise ships-totally ridiculous Who in the world wants to see cruise ships He had nothing interesting to say or inform us about except a bit of Brief info about the oldest church n Lisbon. That we could only pick into for 5 mins. Then geez we walk back down hill where he starts complaining he has to get two Ubers for us to go to Lisbon helicopter business for a flight- he is talking u see his breath and is so unprofessional complaining about his company not doing his job! One tiny Uber arrives for 8 people that were signed up n the other 8 r waiting for like a half hour fir the other uber to pick up the rest if people for flight. Then the guide us suppose to take the extra eight people n continue on ridiculous boring tour. I was with the first group of 4 people for helicopter flight- we told them another group if 4 people were on the way and the flight company had no idea! Ridiculous bad communication n unprofessional/ But the 7-8 minute flight was very safe n fun n the pilot was professional. Also the boat ride that was included was very nice and enjoyable and the captain did a great job. Oh the driver that picked us up from Lisbon helicopter pad n dropped us off by Time out market was in a Mercedes van that was disguising - trashy dirty red warning light was on dashboard the car stunk of smoke n cigarettes and the driver was driving like a crazy person speeding and had no idea where he was because he was using his gps on iPhone in one had n other had driving on steering wheel. Very scary smelly rude n unprofessional! I don't recommend using this particular tour on Viator- But I do recommend using the boat tour n helicopter tour Lisbon I'd contact those agencies independently or use a different site- The initial tour guide should not be a guide- Awful unprofessional ruined our experience!!!
Dear Holly Robison, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, several points mentioned in your review are not accurate and we would like to clarify them for the benefit of future travelers. We would like to clarify the following factual points: 1.Group size and alleged “false advertising” At no point does our company advertise a maximum of 8 participants. On the day of your tour, there were 14 verified guests in total — 8 registered for the full experience including the helicopter flight, and 6 for the standard walking and tram portion. All names, bookings, and ticket records are documented and available as evidence. 2.Guide’s conduct The tour guide did not smoke or act unprofessionally in the presence of clients. Any smoking occurred solely during legally permitted break periods, in designated outdoor areas. 3.Itinerary and viewpoint description The viewpoint you referred to is the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, one of Lisbon’s most emblematic landmarks. It features traditional azulejo tile panels and provides panoramic views over the Alfama district, the Tagus River, the Church of São Vicente de Fora, and the National Pantheon. Your description of this site as “a place overlooking cruise ships” is both inaccurate and misleading to potential travelers. 4.Transportation arrangements Due to an unforeseen accident involving the originally scheduled driver, our company arranged fully licensed and insured Uber vehicles to transfer guests to the heliport, located approximately five minutes away. All such services were carried out in full compliance with Portuguese transport and tourism regulations. The return transfer, operated in a Mercedes Vito van, also met all legal and safety requirements and was driven by a duly certified professional. 5.Heliport coordination and communication Contrary to your claim that the helicopter operator “had no idea” about the second group, we possess documented communications with the heliport confirming that they were fully informed in advance about the total number of participants and the sequence of flights scheduled for that day. This coordination is a standard operational procedure of our company, and all flights were executed correctly and safely as planned. Your statement implying otherwise is false, misleading, and defamatory. Kind regards, World Experience
Francisco Maia was a great tour guide. Very informative and has a good sense of humour. The tour itself showed the architecture of the old town. The elevators save us from a lot of walking up steep streets. Good tour
Francisco is an amazing tour guide. Perfectly balanced switching 3 languages during tour with English, Portuguese and Spanish speaking people
Beautiful day full of a great city walk, boat ride on the Tagus River and an awesome helicopter ride to view the city along the Tagus River!
