Fabulous. Glacier 3000 and Montreux. Norman tour guide 5*. Informative but didn’t talk incessantly. Clear instructions. Firm on time scales so we were not all hanging around waiting for the terminally late.
Fabulous trip. Reaching the snow park was fabulous - so much fun. Trip was well organised and great having free time!
The glacier 3000 was an amazing view. The tour operator was very informative and friendly. Unfortunately we had an extremely busy day and it took over 1.5hrs to get the cable cars to the top so there wasn’t much time to do anything other than the peak walk.
This tour feels like it’s the wrong way round. The time on the Glacier is too long because the alpine coaster and sledge dogs and all other activities were not taking place because of the season. This meant that you were left trying to fill the time after doing the short bridge walk. While Montreux is lovely and sunny in May and has a lot going on. With only an hour to explore, I felt rushed and unable to enjoy the experience. On another note, the tour guide was unfriendly and unreceptive to questions except on his terms. I went on a tour with the same company the day before and it was fabulous. I was shocked I had the completely opposite experience today.

The time spent on the Glacier is intentionally the main focus of the tour, as it’s considered the highlight of the day—offering stunning views and a unique alpine experience. As for Montreux, the one-hour stop is designed to provide a relaxing break and let guests enjoy the lakefront and atmosphere of this charming town. The main sights are located along a single promenade, which is walkable in a short time. For guests who prefer to explore more deeply or at their own pace, we do recommend considering a private tour, which allows for customized timing and flexibility. All information from Viator excellent. Two hour plus bus journey and toilets locked on bus. Plus no stops on way to Glacier. Intercom on bus was crackling and the guide spoke about very little regarding the mountains constantly. Although guide was nice we felt there was a lot of unnecessary talking. The Cable Car and Glacier experience was very enjoyable and Montreal was also a nice town to stop at on the way back, however we were given 1 hour and was back on time only to have to stand and wait 20 plus minutes for the bus. I would do the experience again but use public transportation instead.

This is a great tour. It's pricey, but everything is in Switzerland. The tour guide was great (Dean I think). He was entertaining and funny, always willing to take the photos so we didn't have to take selfies. He knew some extra hidden spots and surprised us with a little picnic just beyond the base of the glacier with wine and cheese. A nice touch. The glacier has incredible views. It's obviously weather dependent and when we were there the clouds opened for some great views! It was snowy and windy though so wrap up warm. A little disappointed that the alpine coaster was closed but no fault, just the weather. A short stop in Montreux was a welcome break on the drive home. A lovely lake town with some interesting links to the band queen. Highly recommend this tour. Well organised and stunning views and scenery!
