Amazing experience with excellent staff. Our diving instructor was knowledgeable, patient and fun. FILIP is the diving instructor who got me and my daughter through this course. FILIP was very fun to dive with and the whole time we both felt safe and comfortable. After 37 years away from scuba diving, I was hesitant and skeptical about whether I’d be welcome as a senior learner. However, after a wonderful chat with Richie at the Discovery Divers office, his encouragement convinced me to sign up for the Open Water Diver course. ​My instructor, Pierre, made the next three days completely stress-free and highly enjoyable. Despite his extensive experience, his enthusiasm for teaching dive skills and safety was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, checking on my comfort constantly, and even brought extra gear just to ensure a perfect fit. Even with poor water clarity, his professionalism made me feel completely at ease. ​Thank you so much, Pierre! Thanks also to Zoe and the rest of the friendly team. Had an amazing experience with discovery dive centre. I did the 3 day PADI open water course, which on my very first dive was lucky enough to see a whale shark in the sea while diving!! My instructor Filip was great and couldn’t recommend him enough, he made feel very comfortable when learning to dive and explained things very clearly! Had a great time doing this course and would recommend to anyone!

I completed the 3 day PADI Open Water Diver certification course with Discovery Divers this week and could not be happier with my experience. They are extremely competent in all phases with communication, equipment and instruction being top notch. My instructor Philip was excellent and would take his time to make sure everything and every skill was just right before you move on to the next phase of your training. The boat crews were outstanding and very personable. You will feel very comfortable under their care. I can’t recommend Philip and Discovery Diving enough to start your scuba journey! As a bonus we got next to a beautiful whale shark within 5 minutes of our first dive and you can’t beat that!

I completed the PADI Open Water course and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Special shout out to Filip honestly the best instructor you can find. Super helpful and explained everything very well. ! If you want to learnt to dive Filip is your guy. I felt safe the whole time and got to see some incredible sea life. If you’re in Koh Samui and are interested in diving I couldn’t recommend it more.

I took the open water PADI course with my two eldest daughters (16 and 18) with Pierre the instructor, who was amazing. Attentive, patient, charming and above all else professional and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend the experience enough. Well organized, well thought out and besides the certification the diving locations they took us to themselves were breathtaking. 5/5

I had an amazing experience with discovery diving! Pierre was the BEST instructor. He always made me feel safe and confident while diving which made such a big difference as a beginner. I would recommend this course and Pierre to everyone!

This was the best way to get my scuba certification! Very well organized and well run, the staff was super personable and knowledgeable. Felt like I was in great hands! Our instructor was Pierre, and he was amazing! If you can, request him! He lead us on amazing dives, was super knowledgeable of all the fish, and was very comforting when we struggled with some of the skills. 10/10 experience, and would 100% recommend to all!
