Amazing experience with Andes Salt Expeditions! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t be happier with our 3-day tour. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to our guide Eduardo and our driver Frankly, who were absolutely fantastic. Both were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional throughout the entire trip. Eduardo was knowledgeable and passionate, always ready to explain what we were seeing and answer our questions, while Frankly made us feel completely safe and comfortable even during the longest and most challenging parts of the journey. They were always punctual, attentive and in a great mood, which made spending three days together genuinely fun. 😊 The Salar and the landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano are simply unforgettable, but having such a great team made the experience even more special. We would 100% recommend Andes Salt Expeditions — and especially Eduardo and Frankly! Thank you for an amazing adventure! 🇧🇴❤️
Before any analysis, I want to highlight the work of Edu and Ruben, which was excellent and has nothing to do with the worst experience we had. We had booked the 3-day/2-night tour ending in São Pedro de Atacama. Unfortunately, due to weather reasons, the border closed and we had to change the plan. The operator waited until the day before to indicate the changes, when obviously we didn't know how to interpret the quality of the new plan versus the original. The truth is that there was no relevant content for a 3-day tour and the operator should have reduced it to just 2 days; it had been more than enough. We wasted time seeing villages that have no interest other than to go to the bathroom or buy drinks. So that on the last night all the tour passengers decided to shorten the last day and finish earlier because we were tired of inventing and going around in circles. In short, facing the changes that were imposed on us, there was a lack of honesty and only greed. There should have been a reduction of the trip from 3 to 2 days and a price reduction. In the end... they didn't want to know if we would like it or not, they just wanted to make money
We had crazy weather and had to switch to a 2-day tour with the same company. Viator were super helpful and responsive while we sorted out the change, can’t recommend more. We had a wonderful two days!

Unfortunately, our tour had to be canceled on the start day due to heavy snowfall and the resulting suspension of bus and flight traffic to Uyuni. Andes Salt Expedition Tours was directly reachable via WhatsApp and we were able to cancel the entire tour free of charge. The money was credited directly to the account one day later.

We really enjoyed our trip. Thankyou to guide Juan and driver Palagio. I had been anxious about safety, altitude and cold prior to the trip after reading other reviews. I found the off road driving through difficult conditions by Palagio to be excellent, he was friendly and courteous. I felt very safe. Juan was a good communicator, helpful and kind. We missed the last day into Chile due to snow and had to back track to Uyuni. The agency and Juan helped us with a bus ticket via an alternative ( Avaroa ) border. There was was no refund for missing the last day and we found out the border had been closed for several days but we were only notified a day before with no ability to cancel at that stage. The accommodation out on tour was clean, food good. but very cold with no hot water ( despite it being promised ).
We had a brilliant tour with Eduardo, who was an excellent guide. He was warm, welcoming, very informative and really made sure we had a great time on our tour. Highly recommend!
A very nice experience! Good info on the spot, everything is done to get comfort and the experience as optimal as possible! Not an easy situation due to gasoline shortage!!! Still, they did everything they could to complete the program! 👏
