Really enjoyed this 3-hour tour. Our guide was terrific and was able to share some unique insights at some stops based on his own military service in Estonia. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Estonia as well as details about Old Town Tallinn and the nearby areas.
Maive was an excellent tour guide! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Tallinn and every time we turned a corner there was another beautiful building and fascinating story! We loved the fact that we had a driver to take us to the sites away from Old Town and then walked through Old Town. Saw a lot in 3 hours!
The tour was great. Tallinn was a wonderful surprise. We especially loved our tour guide who was super knowledgeable and funny. Highly recommend

We had booked a tour in German; unfortunately, we were informed one day in advance that the guide was sick and the tour would take place in English, with the option to cancel if we wished. We speak and understand only a little English, but we stuck with the tour and did not regret it! Our guide Kaupo made every effort to convey as much as possible to us in English and with hand gestures 😉. Thanks to the excursion, we were also able to see a lot outside the historic city center in the first hour, e.g., the palace 😁 After an hour in the car, Kaupo showed us many beautiful and also hidden corners of this wonderful city. At the end of the tour, he ordered us a taxi (a return trip in the car is not provided) to the port; upon request, he would have also accompanied us to the port on foot, but we were grateful to be driven. Thank you, Kaupo, for this wonderful excursion! We can recommend this excursion 100%, even in English 😉

Our family arrived at the meeting site on time, right next to the Tallinn, Estonia Tourist Office. No guide showed up so we asked inside. We were told that the guide works solo and for months does not show up to give the paid for tours. THIS IS A SCAM. Viator should yank the 3 hour Tallinn Food Tour off its website. Why aren't you monitoring this situation since it has happened many times before?

We do operate private tours in Tallinn, but the experience mentioned in this review does not match any of our services. If a guide genuinely failed to appear for one of our tours, guests can always contact us directly, and Viator would also notify us so that the situation could be investigated and resolved immediately. Even in the very unlikely event that a tour could not operate, guests would receive a full refund or appropriate assistance. We would never leave our guests without support or simply fail to show up without taking responsibility. Since there is no booking associated with this review, we are unable to verify the claims made or connect this situation to our company. This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was excellent. Great mix of history and personal experiences. My husband had mobility issues and she navigated the streets to ensure we could see all the sights with a minimal amount of walking.

Maeve was a great guide. She met us outside the cruise terminal with a car and driver nearby. We viewed the location of the Mid.Summer Festival. The wooden structure for the fire was visible and ready to light later that day. We viewed several historical sites before the walking tour began at highest area of Tallinn. She was quite knowledgeable of the history of the area and was also open to our questions. At the end of the tour, she steered us to a wonderful chocolate shop, as well as directions to the ship shuttle. It was an enjoyable experience.

Our tour guide for Tallinn, Estonia, was named Maive. Her personality was very fun and engaging, and she clearly enjoyed showing off her city for us. She took us to many interesting shops in Tallinn's Old Town district. Maive is a choral singer, and she took us to an outdoor concert stage where she sang annually in a huge choir. She also showed us the river where Helsinki hosted the rowing events in the 1980 Summer Olympics. I highly recommend her for a visit to Tallinn because you will not find a more personable guide!
