Lovely experience! Our driver and guide, Freddie, was fantastic! We saw so many different sites, yet it never felt rushed. The small size of the group was a plus. There was nature, history, food, lots of stories and good music - what more can one ask for?

Exceptional stay. We were able to see everything we wanted to see. Our guide, Jim, was supportive and he shared very interesting information with us. We had chosen the accommodation option and were thus able to meet super welcoming hosts in their wonderful guesthouse. An excursion you absolutely must do if you visit Scotland.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC TOUR! Honestly can’t say enough - everything was perfect: ease of pickup, comfort within the small 16 passenger coach, spectacular itinerary, homey accommodations in the town of Portree with the sweetest hosts, and the star of the adventure…..our guide Jim! He expertly maneuvered that coach van through the sometimes tricky highland roads like a true professional. He was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable - all with a wee bit of Scottish humor and a fine kilt! My husband and I came to trust in and rely on Jim for just about everything! If you are considering booking this Timberbush tour, don’t wait, just do it now! 5 STARS!!!!
We haven’t even ended our vacation to Scotland yet but I wanted to leave this review as soon as possible- it was awesome! Our guide, Martin, was super-knowledgeable, patient and kind. He took us to so many interesting spots and provided detailed commentary for each experience. Our stay in the Isle of Skye was unbeatable (Creagory Skye). Our host was lovely, the B&B was impeccable and the breakfast was top-notch. I absolutely recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a memorable experience and that Martin made the tour so enjoyable with his knowledge, patience and commentary. It’s also wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your stay on Skye and the warm welcome, accommodation and breakfast at Creagory Skye. We’ll be sure to pass your kind comments on to Martin and our accommodation partners. Thanks again for recommending Timberbush, and we hope the rest of your time in Scotland is just as enjoyable!
Our tour through the Highlands and the Isle of Skye was absolutely unforgettable, all thanks to our tour guide, Neil. From the moment we set out, Neil’s knowledge of the region brought the history, landscapes and legends to life. He shared fascinating insights that made every stop meaningful. Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, Neil was exceptionally friendly, warm and attentive. He went out of his way to be helpful throughout the entire journey, ensuring everyone was having the best possible experience. If you are planning a trip to Skye and the Highlands, ask for Neil. He truly made our trip special.
Great trip with a lot of ground covered in three days, yet never felt rushed. Scott Duncan (the real Scottish Scott) was a fabulous guide. He provided a great mix of historical facts and myths, with a great sense of humor.
