We had such an amazing three days and genuinely enjoyed every moment of this trip. Everything was so well planned, but at the same time it still felt adventurous, exciting and full of little surprises. We saw so many incredibly beautiful places and landscapes, had some amazing food along the way, and really felt like we experienced a very special part of Scotland. A huge thank you in particular to our guide, Billy, who made the whole experience even more wonderful. He was incredibly kind, caring and attentive throughout the trip, and we always felt like we were in very safe hands. He really took the time to show us so much, tell us interesting stories and make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. You could genuinely feel how much he cared about making the trip special for us. We have travelled to many places across Europe and beyond, but this was honestly one of the very best trips we have ever had. It was beautiful, memorable, so much fun, and absolutely worth every penny. We came away with so many lovely memories and would recommend this tour without hesitation. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! 🤍 Billy, you’re the best!

Absolutely cracking tour! Brilliantly organised, spot-on timing and a really good use of every day. Colin was a top guide — knowledgeable, great fun and an excellent driver. One tiny suggestion: you’re passing right by the legendary (and very haunted 👻) Drovers Inn… surely worth a stop next time! Would happily do another tour with you. 🏴

An amazing intro to the beautiful Highlands and Skye. Saw so much. Chris our driver/guide was amazingly knowledgeable and was a great tour leader. The whole experience from the wonderful unspoilt scenery to being in the right place at the right time (eg to see the steam engine pass over the Glenfinnen viaduct) to the lovely b and b arranged through the company on Skye - was an excellent experience

We are absolutely devastated by our experience with Discover Scotland Tours. We had booked the Isle of Skye, Highlands & Loch Ness 3 Day Tour for two people as part of a special overseas trip, but had to cancel when our father was unexpectedly emergency admitted to hospital. We emailed the company on 29 August, as soon as we knew we could no longer travel. They say they cannot locate that original email, and when we followed up, we were told that because it was technically 13 days before the tour rather than 14, we were not entitled to a refund. We understand that companies have policies, but the complete lack of compassion or discretion in response to a sudden and devastating family emergency was deeply upsetting. We did not cancel because we changed our minds — we had no choice but to cancel because our father was in hospital. Yet we were treated as a booking reference rather than people experiencing an extremely distressing situation. The response was cold, procedural and focused entirely on the technical deadline, with no meaningful consideration of the circumstances. It has left us feeling that once Discover Scotland Tours has your money, your individual circumstances and experience simply do not matter. We sincerely hope they reconsider and show some compassion; if they do, we would be happy to update this review.

Look, you can’t choose your guides, but if you get Dave you’re in luck. He was helpful at every turn, told us great stories about the areas we visited (both historical and current), and was charming from start to finish. Honestly, I felt like I was hanging out with my favorite uncle the whole time. This company knows its stuff- what time to arrive places, where the best bathrooms are, where to fill your water bottle, etc. I appreciated the experience from start to finish. Would absolutely book with these guys again. And keep my fingers crossed to get Dave as my guide!

Our tour to Isle of Skye was a highlight. Though the road became blocked by a fatal accident, our driver adeptly rerouted over back roads and we had quite a tour of the countryside. He was knowledgeable and cheerful. Unfortunately we struggled to understand through his accent. He was responsive to our needs and went out of his way to see that we were taken care of. I would love to have had more time to hike but we’ll have to return someday.

Get yourself on Scott's bus and you'll thank me later. Not just for his sense of humor and exemplary musical taste, but for one of the most thoughtful guides who will do everything in his power to make sure its a special trip. He listened to guests and made little extra stops based on requests when time allowed, accommodated the physical needs of guests i.e. comfort stops and walking distance, and even made helpful suggestions for picking up better priced snacks and souvenirs. My husband and I had an absolute blast and can't recommend this tour with Scott enough.

Gary the Guide is a legend! Gary led my family on an amazing 4 day tour across the Isle of Skye in June 2026, and it was an opportunity of a lifetime to see such an otherworldly and beautiful place. Gary is kind, easy to talk with, very knowledgable and made our trip so fun. Four days is a long time for strangers to be in a van together, and Gary made us feel like we were lifelong pals. Thank you Gary - we hope to tour with you again!

The expirence was fantastic. We spent tree funny days visiting the highlands. The Skye island is so nice. And our tour guide Colin is really friendly and fun. He told us a lot of interesting stories about the visited places.
