⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Kumano Kodo experience! This was my second tour with Sunnavi during my Japan trip, and both were amazing. Definitely recommended. Our guide and driver, Tajan, was so polite, kind and friendly. He told me he is still developing his English, but I told him I need to work on my Japanese too — so no worries Tajan, we are at the same level! 😊 The whole journey was incredible, visiting the three Grand Shrines, Daimon-zaka, Seigantoji and beautiful Nachi Waterfall. We were treated so well with free neck pillows, water, tea, snacks and I even got a new pair of socks! 😍 Ending the day with the Totsukawa foot onsen was perfect. After such a beautiful journey, soaking my tired feet felt like the most peaceful closure to an unforgettable day. Thank you Tajan and Sunnavi! ❤️🇯🇵

Our Kumano Kodo pilgrimage was absolutely unforgettable, all thanks to our incredible guide and driver, Yan Lei! He was prepared for literally every curveball the day threw at us. When unexpected rain rolled in, he instantly appeared with umbrellas. He also kept us perfectly on schedule, ensuring we had ample time to explore all three Grand Shrines of the Kumano Sanzan: Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha, and Kumano Nachi Taisha. Yan Lei went above and beyond by providing snacks and drinks to keep us hydrated throughout the day. To top off an amazing trip, we stopped at Totsukawa Onsen Iorinoyu to dip our tired legs into the rejuvenating hot spring waters—and he even surprised us with free clean socks afterward! If you want a seamless, magical journey, Yan Lei is the ultimate choice.

Hanazawa Syun was our driver and guide and he was so wonderful! The audio guide was very informative, the trip was timed out in a way to minimize tiredness, and we received lots of goodies (like fans and cold water) to help with the heat. This was a great experience! The temples and shrines were very beautiful and I feel grateful for this experience.

Excellent trip, covered all the 3! main shrines and Nachi waterfalls. The driver cum guide Mr. Jana away brilliantly co-ordinanated the trip.

5 minutes, the schedule is tight, everything you want to go, the driver guide is responsible, within a day of visiting the best of Kumano ancient road. Punched three mountains maliciously, towards the end of the journey, and also experienced natural foot soup culture, not with powder bubbles! It's natural underground.

Great. Really well organised and timed so that we didn't feel rushed and could thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful sites. Commentaries were interesting and most informative. Hanazawa was very kind and an excellent driver and guide. Loved his clock for meeting times too. A wonderful day.
