If you never been to Rome, this is by far the most convenient way to see all the major ruin sites. Karim, our driver was just delightful, friendly and informative, just what every tour guide should be. Our party of 3 were collected early at our accommodation near St Peter's square and then driven around Rome, stopping to see the sites with time for photos etc. Just near the Colloseum we stopped briefly for a coffee. I highly recommend booking the tour early in the morning to avoid the intense heat over summer and large crowds.

Provider canceled the morning of the tour claiming that there was an electrical failure that didn't allow them to charge their carts.
Francesco was absolutely fantastic. Possibly the best tour guide I have experienced in the world. Knowledge able, full of history, ideas, recommendations, kept the timing perfect as I do not walk well and more. Customized the day for us and made it exactly what we had hoped for! Golf cart is definitely the way to go for flexibility, comfort and convenience. Francesco made sure we had all the pics we wanted as well. Ask for Francesco!
