⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Morning in Nagarkot I booked the Nagarkot Sunrise Tour through Agoda and honestly, it turned out to be one of the highlights of my Nepal trip. The pickup was at 4:15 AM, and both the driver, Sharan and my guide, Suresh, were right on time. The drive to Nagarkot was comfortable, and I really enjoyed having Suresh as my guide. He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Throughout the journey, he shared interesting stories and insights about Nepal, its people and everyday life. He even shared some recent news about the flood tragedy in Nepal. I genuinely enjoyed listening to him because he gave me a different perspective of the country beyond what I would normally experience as a tourist. Nagarkot is beautiful, and we were blessed with a clear enough morning to actually see the mountains. I had been hoping to see the Himalayas during my Nepal trip, and finally seeing that long, majestic mountain range with my own eyes was such an amazing feeling. It was absolutely worth waking up at 4 AM! There was also a short downhill hike, which he estimated would take about 25 minutes. Well… it ended up taking a little longer than that! 😂 But I didn’t regret doing it at all. I even got to see a suspension bridge, while getting some unexpected exercise at the same time. 😆 It was a lovely way to experience a little bit of the local village life rather than just viewing Nepal from the vehicle. The tour was actually a rescheduled one due to some technical and communication issues on the previous day. However, I was impressed by how quickly and professionally the tour provider handled the situation. They apologised and did their best to accommodate me, and the rescheduled tour went smoothly. I really appreciated their effort. One small thing that also impressed me: during the return journey, I needed to urgently get some personal hygiene items. I mentioned it to Suresh, and they kindly stopped at a shopping centre so I could buy what I needed. It was a small gesture, but it made me feel that they genuinely cared about their guest’s needs. Breakfast wasn’t included in the package, but that was perfectly fine for me. Overall, this was an amazing, insightful and enlightening experience. I got to see the Himalayas with my own eyes, experience a little village life, learn more about Nepal from someone who knows it well, and even squeeze in some exercise! 😂 I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re staying in Kathmandu and want to experience the Himalayas without having to travel too far. It was a wonderful day in Nagarkot! At exactly the right time, I was met by a guide and a bus driver at my hotel, and they took me to Nagarkot to meet the dawn overlooking the Himalayas. And we were lucky: despite the monsoon season, we saw beautiful mountain views! After that, the guide gave a tour, showed the most beautiful places, told a great deal and answered all my questions endlessly patiently. Finally, we had coffee with mountain views at a cozy local cafe, and then I was taken back to the hotel. Thank you so much for such a lovely and quiet day, it was really nice to meet you! It was a wonderful day in Nagarkot! Right on schedule, a guide and a bus driver picked me up at my hotel and took me to Nagarkot to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas. We were lucky: despite the monsoon season, we got a beautiful view of the mountains! After that, the guide gave us a tour, showing us the most scenic spots, telling many interesting stories, and patiently answering all my endless questions.
