This private tour is a must for Beatles Fans. Steve our driver for this trip was a fantastic guide and his knowledge of the bands history was unbelievable. Steve was amazing, so knowledgeable and personable. He took his time and explained every site and never rushed us, he answered all our questions. My wife is not the biggest Beatles fan, she was doing this for me and she absolutely loved Steve and the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see and learn about the Beatles history in Liverpool. Pickup and drop off at the hotel made this so easy, no stress of trying to find a meeting place. When I travel I love to hear stories and get insight from locals and Steve was full of information and fun stories.

My wife and I took Beatles City Taxi Tours with Steve on August 24, 2026, and had a wonderful time. From the moment we met him, Steve was personable, courteous, and genuinely engaging. What made the tour especially memorable was how interactive Steve made it. On the way to our next stop, he would play a Beatles song and have us guess where we were headed. It was such a fun way to connect the music we love with the places that helped shape it. This wasn’t simply a sightseeing tour; Steve made us feel part of the experience. He also has a relative with a direct connection to the Beatles, but I won’t spoil that story. You’ll have to take the tour and let him tell you himself! Fantastic guided tour. Steve was extremely knowledgeable, the tour covered childood homes of the beatles, strawberry fields, penny lane and much more, and his choice of Beatles tracks he played on the tour were perfect. If you are visiting Liverpool, this tour is a must.

Steve gave us one of the best private tours we’ve ever done, hands down. His knowledge of the Beatles is incredible, but what really made it special was how personal he made it — he has his own connection to the band, and you can feel that history in the way he tells the stories. We saw so much beyond the typical highlights: their childhood homes, the church where their youth group practiced, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, and Eleanor Rigby’s grave. Steve brought a binder of photos for each stop, so you could actually picture what things looked like back then standing right where it happened. He’s also just a genuinely warm, fun person to spend a few hours with. We’re in the process of moving to England ourselves, and Steve went out of his way to share tips and recommendations that had nothing to do with the tour at all. That generosity says a lot about him. As a travel advisor, I’m always evaluating experiences on two levels: how much I enjoyed it myself, and whether I’d recommend the supplier to my own clients. Steve passes both tests easily, and I’ll absolutely be sending clients his way in the future. If you’re a Beatles fan visiting Liverpool, book this tour. You won’t regret it.
