Me and my best friend did thorough research before booking with Highland Explorer, and we are so glad we did! The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous. Pick up was quick and easy. Our guide was Cara, and I cannot speak more highly of her! She was extremely knowledgeable (to the point where the more she told us, the more I was in awe). We had an unfortunate mishap with the ferry on the way to Skye (all due to weather, completely out of anyone’s control) and Cara made sure that our dinner was pushed back so we could all eat, and made the detour super worth it with her lovely music and local lore/info. She made every day extra wonderful and put in so much effort to make everyone comfortable and have all of our needs met. The tour itself was beautiful- worth every penny. We chose to stay at BnB accom and stayed at the Skye Inn which was absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were super cute and comfortable. Thank you so much Cara! Everyone should book with Highland Explorers - you won’t regret it (and hopefully you get Cara!)

Wonderful guide cum driver: Laurie. Operator was responsive to communication pre tour.

We decided to book the trip with Highland Explorer Tours, and our driver Laurie was just amazing! Even being from Spain we got to understand her and her “bad jokes” (they were actually funny). She was clear about instructions, pick up times and locations and recommendations of things to do. The trip itself was just amazing and we loved the Scottish Highlands. We had a really great time!

Charlie was a great tour guide! She made this trip interesting with her so many stories and positive personality. Tour was well organized with a lot of places visited. I would recommend this tour to everyone but ask for Charlie!

Compared with other tours, this one gave us enough time on our feet to explore scenic spots. The bed and breakfast was cozy and the food was good. Best of all was our driver-guide, Charlie! She was super friendly and energetic, and so so knowledgeable. She's a gem and we would definitely do another tour with her!

The tour was great! Charlie is amazing! Best tour guide/driver ever. I loved her storytelling and jokes. She is so funny, kind, helpfull and a great driver. I would definitely do it again.
