Venus, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. She was relatively new doing this job but she researched the missions because she knew her stuff. It was very educational. Thank you Venus, us Aussies loved you! This tour was a good choice in August in San Antonio because it is hot that time of year and the mini van was airconditioned and spacious. Very comfortable.

Ok if looking for just a friendly driver.
The gal leading the tour was nice, but not a guide. Very little history of anything except her personal world.

Meeting point
To meet at the white statue. We walked all around the Alamo looking for the guide. My husband happened to ask this lady if she knew and it was our guide.

San Antonio missions tour
We got lucky with our recent missions tour in San Antonio. We had the pleasure of having Thomas as our tour guide and we were the only 2 people on the tour! Thomas’ historic knowledge of the missions was phenomenal. Thomas is a wonderful storyteller and kept us interested and engaged the entire 3 1/2 hours. We highly recommend Thomas.

Great Tour - Don’t Leave San Antonio Until You See the Missions!
If you want to learn about the history of San Antonio and Texas, this is an enjoyable and educational tour that is well worth the time and cost. Our tour guide, Tom, put up with this Aggie, and shared his wealth of knowledge with us. We appreciated Tom’s passion of Texas history and could feel his love of storytelling. Thanks for a great tour. Gig’em!

An anthropologist study on the area
I loved Tom’s tour. He is the real deal.
Tom is an anthropologist, a San Antonio native, with vast experience in all things related with local history. His perspective it’s really valuable to understand the area.
I bought the small group 3.5 hour tour, and ended up being the only one person that booked that morning.
During the day, the city happen to had a lot planned of activities around town and we couldn’t enter to all the sites, but it was worthy anyway.

The Mission Trail tour...
The Mission Trail tour was excellent! Tom was a fantastic tour guide. A wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humor!

The Mission Tour is a must when visiting San Antonio
The Mission Tours are a must to shed historical significance of San Antonio’s history. I loved it as it added more context to the contribution of Native Americans and the Spanish history. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat in over 100+ degrees

San Antonio Mission’s
Tom was amazing! Knew his stuff, was informative, engaging and a fantastic historian.
He was training Venus, and we were her first solo tour. While she was nice, she did not know ANYTHING about the Missions. She also was a reckless driver.
It would be all 5’s if Tom was the tour guide, and literally 1’s if it was just Venus.
I 100% recommend a Mission’s tour, I just cannot recommend this one, because it is the flip of the dice on the tour guides…

I personally discussed your concerns with Mr. Tom, our senior guide who was present throughout the tour. He assured me that he was there every step of the way and stepped in whenever necessary to make sure the tour was conducted to the high standard our company expects. According to him, the tour went very well, and the guests appeared happy with the experience at the time.
We certainly understand that this was our new guide’s first solo tour and that there is always room to learn and improve. We take your comments seriously and will use them as part of her continued training.
On a personal note, I would also respectfully ask for a little kindness and understanding toward someone on their very first day. We all had a first day at some point in our careers, and constructive feedback can help a new employee grow tremendously.
